I builded this from your tutorial. Fly very very well. Even when one servo at the V tail secton failed. It's remained stable with only half pitch control. I also tried without any elevator servo. It's working fine with just the 2. V tail servo, and also remain stable in the wing.
I made a fiberglass plane just covered the foam board with a few layers of very thin fiberglass it’s awesome. Hit it with some 2000 grit sand paper and it’s smooth as glass. I’ve also been thinking about switching to digital fpv.. dunno very much about it tho.
Olá sou brasileiro queria muito montar um Drone desse só que é muito dificil . poderia criar um arquivo pdf mostrando como deve ser ligado a parte eletronica e tambem ensinando a configurar o firmware?
I’m building the Silver Eagle. Can you tell me the spacing between the leading edge of the Vtail and the trailing edge of the wing. I could find it in your videos. Thanks!
I want to make an RC plane (for a competition) that can give me maximum flight time. But the battery limit is 3s 2200 mAh. Also, there is a payload of 200gm for flight test. Which one of your planes will you recommend me to make? Can you give me some guidelines?
From your explanation I don't understand the problem with power on FC. But from what I understand, the FC can provide enough power for your servos and you are not supposed to connect ESC Power output to the rail, as stated in manual, thus you will get two different voltage levels. And at least what I see from the video, is the ESC connected actually on S1 with all of its 3 pins? I personally use separate switching PSU ("BEC") for servos to not rely on controller, but still FC should do very sufficient as long as the power is set up accordingly to manual. If this was not the issue then I did not understood the problem, my apologies. I got the part of bridging both rails, but it's just bringing.
The ESC cable doesn’t have the red wire connected to it (it’s halfway cut off) I’m also planning to have external UBEC for my V-Tail servo’s as well as more deflection for flaperons just in case. I still don’t know how it happened. But I’m not soldering that little pad inside since that’ll take another full day of work. Just the BEC and splitting the signal cable to the FC.
@@AeroStuffFPV Aha OK, so as long as the ESC power is not connected then It´s really weird. Hopefully the BEC will truly solve it and it´s not just some sort of SW issue. One note tho, I suppose your dupont cable bridging method was already used before the flight, I might be wrong but I do not like to use them for power applications, I mean, for single servo they are good but the issue could be it´s not suitable for powering the rest, loosen, wobbly...? Don´t get me wrong, It can be totally fine, but I already came across duponts that were not the best quality, either the connectors were bad or crimping was not tight enough. Some either have ridiculously undersized diameter of actual wire. I would like to be corrected if I am wrong with the theory. Anyway, good luck with it :)))
In one V tail tutorial you have one piece of the fuselage at 57cm and other at 30cm, in another you use a two piece totalling 90cm. Which is best? Or does it not matter?
What is the thrust to weight ratio of your silver eagle ?and where do you mark your CG point on the wing ? Please I am struggling to fly my own silver eagle as it it not flying
