Detailed assembly of 20x20mm V Slot Profile Gantry Plate and Delrin V Wheels. this plate can be used for mechanical movement in 3D Printers, CNC Machines, Laser engravers, and also Camera Sliders.
in this video, i have shown how to assemble delrin v wheel kits on 5mm 3d printed gantry plate, for 20x20mm V Slot Aluminium Extrusion Profile.
the assembly is very simple.
first you have to insert the low profile M5x30mm bolts into the gantry plate from one side.
then from the other side, insert eccentric spacers on 2 bolts and aluminium spacers on the other two.
then insert the shim washers, then the delrin v wheels, and finally the nyloc nuts.
tighten the nuts so that the wheels are properly fit and the bolts are perpendicular to the plate.
now turn the eccentric spacer towards the outer side of the plate, so that the gap between the wheels is increased.
now place the plate on the aluminium profile 20x20mm and again turn the eccentric spacer, this time, to decrease the gap, so that the wheels have a grip on the aluminium profile.
thats it! you have successfully assembled a v slot gantry plate on 2020 v slot profile.
