That would be absolutely amazing. Would be quite the challenge in order to fit the engine tho. U would likely have to remove the false firewall and push the transmission back in order to make room, which would obviously require a custom drive shaft and shifter linkage. Also I’m not sure how tall the v12 is but the g does not have that much height in the engine bay meaning you’ll most likely have to run a dry sump. In the end if you manage to pull off the swap you’ll have a super front heavy car that will push like crazy. If your just a straight line power guy then I suppose that doesn’t really matter. This would be an awesome swap and I’m all for na power but I’m just not sure if the g is the right candidate. Checkout chadou17 on RU-vid. He has a fully built and cammed vq35de rev up just like yours that sounds absolutely amazing. Maybe going this route can be a possible option for you in the future. Just my .02, cheers
I appreciate it OG. I don’t upload to upload, like some RU-vidrs. I know the algorithm punishes me for not being consistent. I only upload if I think it’s good content.
I have a stock 2016 Genesis Coupe 3.8. They are not worth adding a turbo kit. Everyone tries to add a turbo kit without a build engine and they end up blowing. I did lots of research from 2020 to 2023. I think I have decided to save up money, sell my car in the future, and buy a 2020-2021 M240i xDrive. It has the B58, AWD, and rear seats. It is also light. 348 horsepower was nice to experience, but I am ready for the next level. I get complements on my car and it is entirely stock. I do like the way it looks. However, the power is disappointing now. I do think a 6.2L or 4.0L bi-turbo AMG V8 would be amazing in the Genesis Coupe, but I don't anything about car swaps other than what I have watched on videos. I would have to pay someone else to do it. There are already too many LS swaps. I wonder how much it would cost. That would be the only way I would keep my car to be unique. One guy does have a 900 horsepower 2JZ Genesis Coupe. 2JZ is amazing, but everyone has seen it.
Why is my G35 coupe not sounding like Tyler’s? I have the same Motordyne exhaust AND now purchased the flat tip rear canisters and it still doesn’t sound like Tyler’s
v12 would be insane l, however I would really love to see a fully built and cammed NA rev up motor 🙏🏼🙂I want to build my engine as soon as i can afford it comfortably
Ya seem so focused on acquiring the "sound". That is a lot of dough and effort just for the "sound". 😎I think ya want that horsepower more. C'mon man don't fib.😎 My 300ZX na can only dream about being your G35.
