**VIDEO NOTES** - I forgot to mention and a few people brought it up, but when you're fishing the "koi" fish have a description that mentions they look a lot more like small dragons than fish. They really do look like little dragons.
In Russian localization koi is literally named “fake dragon” lol But i prefer to play in English because it seems like Russian translation is translation of English translation of Chinese game
Also, the item description for rusty koi (the blue ones) mention that they are sometimes termed "awakened dragons" and have strong will, willing to fight any who invade their territory for food. It says its a strong fighter with iron will and is given the nickname the "ironbone dragon", and will be the backbone of its species future revitalization. Thought that was interesting! Sounds like a certain maiden with strong prowess for military strategy and resource management. Sorry if you already covered this and i missed it.
There's one other thing about Orobashi being based off of Yamata no Orochi that I think needs mentioning-I saw that the little text on Raiden's polearm, the Engulfing Lightning, calls it "a naginata used to cut grass." I think this was a pretty direct reference to the Kusanagi no Tsurugi, also known as "grass cutter," which incidentally was the blade used to slay the evil Orochi. Just thought that it was a neat little detail they left in to make the mythological parallels a lot clearer. Another amazing video btw! I honestly never paid that much attention to Kokomi after feeling underwhelmed from her kit (Mihoyo pls buff T^T), so seeing the info you presented here makes me appreciate the work that went into her design and how she ties into the lore at large that much more. You and the rest of the lore seekers are a healthy breath of fresh air in a community as massive and overwhelming as Genshin's, so I appreciate what you guys bring to the table. Always looking forward to your next vid! Cheers~!
@@sridharhimane150 in Portuguese it is, still, "Luz do Cortador da Grama" (Grasscutter's Light). Maybe some of the original names were changed in the english translation idk why tho
Theory: Ei and Orabashi is just acting the war. Orabashi wanted to act invading Ei's boundary so Merman's won't be angry at Ei for killing their deity. God can't be killed entirely, Just like Guizhong, Havria, Osial, Chi, Guoba, Andrius. Orabashi Turned into Changsheng and hide his presence from something or someone like Dark abyss. Also, Oz is the thunderbird!
in a quest a researcher from SUMERU....KAUSHIK......told the traveller that ANCIENT INAZUMA HAD 2 SNAKE GODS...........1 gave had corals and so could not move after forming sanganomiya.....and its "true divine for dwelled in the encanomiya deep below foreer defending the people of watatsumi island" other snake god was ambisious and wanted narukami too and so fought raiden and was vut down by her(he was orobashi) HE SAID THIS WHILE IN THE QUEST WHEN ALRANI WHEN SHE CAME TO WATATSUMI ISLAND
So like Kaushik ( a scholar from Sumeru ) found near the electro archon statue on Watatsumi Island talks about his discovery of totems which shows 2 snake gods. Kaushik: My conclusion is that ancient Inazuma must have played host to two snake gods! Kaushik: One of them was enjoined with coral and could not move, thus creating Sangonomiya Shrine. Its true divine form dwelled within Enkanomiya deep below, forever defending the people of Watatsumi Island. Kaushik: As for the other snake god, it was a most ambitious being that dreamed of invading Narukami Island, but was cut down by the Electro Archon as it was making its way there. Kaushik: See? This totem shows snake patterns with coral on them on one end, and patterns that completely lack them on the other. And that's how you know this is the truth!
Welp and we can't forget that the islands where the shrines are (the ones that need cleansing) have a very unique form, like the "Tail of Watatsumi" shrine that looks like a huge fish tail and the same with the other "parts" (eye, fang and fin) So for me it makes sense that watatsumi is the corpse of a God, Humm 🤔
The theories, as always, amazing and beyond wonderful ^_^. But what really touched me were all those Okami soundtracks in the background. Literally started to tear up from the memories
Now about Erosion there actually are two places we some something similar but different. The Corrosion from the Spiral Abyss and the Wolves from the 2.2 trailer are black with violet accents just like the Tartagami mist with Traveler was in when they confronted Scaramouche. We also know Raiden’s friend Chiyo was consumed by an Abyssal Monster but wasn’t killed, just stuck. After escaping she became corrupted and violent and we know the 2.2 Wolf monsters are from the Abyss. It’s possible Orobashi, after entering the dark sea, was tainted by the abyss only protected by the coral and after creating Watatsumi island slowly became corroded. In fact the main difference between corrosion and erosion in science is that erosion is natural and slowly removes parts while corrosion is destruction of material. If Orobashi’s mind corroded similar to Chiyo it would would explain its violent and uncharacteristic behavior.
*"Not to change the subject, but also I'm changing the subject"* Well this is oddly relatable whenever I'm talking about a subject. Or every time I'm having mood swings which is mostly 70% of my life.
I know this video is old and the lore of Orobashi arrival to Enkanomiya has been changed but I wanted to add something! This thing you said about the Chinese serpent god and marriage is very interesting, as theres this Liyue book about the human wife of the god of the sea (Palace Beneath the Sea). And my theory always was that Orobashi was one of the sea monsters/gods of the sea who Morax sealed in the deep of the ocean. In fact, it is said that Orobashi fled Teyvat cause he was unable to defeat the "golden god", and in Enkanomiya theres this ongoing theme about Dragons VS Serpents... (Ye, Vishaps! But Liyue is also very VERY related to vishaps.....). However, if Orobashi just fled from Teyvat, why he was trapped down in Enkanomiya, that he had to break the seal for them to go back to the surface? He wanted to break free from his prison, I guess. Funny that you get sealed by a god and when you finally find a way out that god's bosses force you to sacrifice yourself because you read a book hahah However, in this, I think Celestia gave him no choice. He had enough motives to attack the other island, but I think inmolating himself and "surrendering his people" for the Shogun to rule over them was the only way Celestia could allow Enkanomiya people them back. No other gods but The Seven, no mention to the previous history of Teyvat, no nothing. (Unrelated, but my actual hot take is that Orobashi was also Xiao's former master and was who caused the flood who killed Guizhong but lets set that aside for a while…) Going back to Enkanomiyas dragons, after seeing this video I believe even more that Kokomi's lineage is a vessel made in Enkanomiya for the primordial sovereign Dragon of Water. Maybe Orobashi wasnt trying to stop his comeback, maybe he was trying to bring back a powerful ally against Celestia. Sorry for the babbling, Ive loved this video and now I wonder if the ancient dragon god of enkanomiya was the remains of the Dragon of Water or if it was just part of the legend Watatsumi people were forced to tell in order to hice their real origins. Maybe I missed something!
I have a very interesting thing to add. The deity Benzaiten is actually originally the Hindu goddess Saraswati. Just as benzaiten, Saraswati also represents prosperity, but more so goddess of knowledge and music. Now, Saraswati also happens to be associated with rivers, as there is a dry riverbed in India named after her. Now, Saraswati is the kind of goddess who does not involve in war, but she has killed one demon, named mukasur. Now, mythology says that mukasur was a demon who was manipulating and forcing a sage and his followers to gain power and satisfy his greed. Seeing this, Saraswati attacks this demon and makes him deaf and dumb, extremely similar to how snake venom numbs a person. The interesting thing to add is that if mukasur was the kind of demon to manipulate people to do things to gain power and for greed, and Saraswati that killed that demon has a Japanese counterpart in the form of a white snake, I wonder what kind of things must the evil god under the ocean made the people of enkanomiya do, and for what purpose………………….
thank you for covering watatsumi and my magikarp girl!! a story buff is a buff nonetheless and kokomi's connections with the divine keep getting more intriguing the more i think about them
I already theorized about The slleping dragon. But holy that go a lot deeper. Great research as always. I think that Watatsumi or the Dragon Heir will come back in The future, the ritual may go wrong and his become The new Weekly Boss, the second of Inazuma and The "Inazuma Dragon" to fit others regions
I feel like the Coral defenders boss being composed of a cryo Bathysmal vishap and an electro one, when we know there's also hydro vishaps in the Enkanomiya overworld, is hinting that the hydro equivalent of those large vishaps was actually reincarnated into a human like it was prophesied. It'd be awesome if that was Kokomi, just cause I feel attached to her (since she's my first 5 star) and would love her to have an epic backstory like that :p
There's also the fact that Inazuma is missing an elemental dragon ala Divalin and Azhdaha. Most people presume that it was Orobashi and he's dead, but the way of Genshin seems to be cycles, rebirth and death in constant flux, etc. It would not surprise me if a nation's elemental dragon is killed, another will eventually form to take the empty place much like how a species evolves to fill a niche.
After watching, I just remembered that the mermaids in Okami are literally called "dragonians." So yes. Kokomi is a mermaid. She is also a dragon. These are not exclusive.
I want Ash to write next Archon quests, no joke.. I kinda skipped a lot of kokomi’s dialogue because honestly her hitting on traveller was a bit annoying.. im glad you tied it up here 🙏🏻😌
if i remember correctly, there is also an npc in game that makes a statement about there being two gods and not just one :0. I don't recall the specifics but the npc was located near the statue of the seven near a wall drawing of the original god.
The illusion of permanence and immortality huh. Oof, Mihoyo is tackling some complex themes. Who else believes that the items we collect from super major bosses will be useful for something else in the future?
I want to know who oz is and is he the thunderbird, during the archon quest 3, in the raiden shougon story animation we did see a purple bird getting shot who looks exactly like oz soooooo
valkyrie baldestirke Mei (raiden) in honkai uses the ability susanoo. Most of her abilities match those of sasuke as well. he uses lightning and splits a snake in half (orochimaru)
>Be me >Koi princess kokomi >People nagging me to take revenge on Raiden for killing our snake god >Sure buddy.png >They start rioting >Turn into dragon >Attack inazuma city >It triggered Mommy Ei's 500 Year old PTSD >Chops my 500ft body into 2in cubes. >Shouldn't have listened to those fuckers. >mfw mommy Ei, Sara and Miko flying to my city
So I was re-watching the 2.0 trailer and when Yae says “when thrown in the sea” we see Aether underwater and then see a dark figure of some kind of sea monster. Any ideas of what it could be?!
I'd like to think we're in enkonomiya, but I have a feeling with that scene was cut and was actually going to be slotted in right after we pass out in the delusion factory and it would have functioned as a nightmare of sorts. Other than that no idea.
It makes sense now. Kokomi is a shiny Magikarp. In every sense. A 5 star, (Shiny) Water-Type, that can only learn Splash, in a world where splash can damage or heal that, if constellations are maxed, is pretty formidable in her own right, (Gyrados)
I would like to add that the dragonheir might be sealed under the coral filled coiled up dead skin of orobashi, since snakes do shed skin and it would make sense as to why the snake looked pristine when fighting ball.
bro ur too good at theories because i have no idea what the f*** is happening in this game but yeah sure dude magikarp turned into the dead dragon that kokomi sleeps on that makes sense when u say it KEK
I get the feeling that some time down the road, MiHoYo's going to make us revisit all the regions we've been to. Mostly because Honkai Impact 3rd's story is obscenely long. But if the same were to happen with Genshin, I'd imagine we'd get more in-depth with stories like Kokomi's and Watatsumi. The fact that they didn't give us a deeper questline for Watatsumi's story, feels like they're saying "put a pin on that because we're coming back to that later." At least that's what I'm hoping for. I would like to see the writers give Genshin the same level of love that they gave Honkai Impact.
@@clover.8147 I think it is mostly that u started playing honkai 1 year or 2 after its release, if you join right now there is a ton but a ton of things to do, main story, side stories, challenges, abyss, sruff like domains to farm materials, minigames, I mean, sometimes you even dont know what currencies come from where
For a second I got reminded about how Dvalin fought Durin and kind of "inherited" his "disease" which manifested as a neck pain. It made me wonder if Orobashi's battle with the Watatsumi could perhaps have similar associations.
There are two NPC that shared a bit about the history of the Watatsumi island. One is a researcher from Sumeru and the other one is a shrine maiden of Sangonomiya shrine. Your theory is almost similar to that researcher's conclusion.
So nice to see someone else delving into the Kokomi and Watatsumi lore! I didn't go as deep because I have no idea about mythology but I was convinced that Kokomi is in fact either a deity reincarnated or at least has some of the powers of her ancestors from the bottom of the sea and that we will learn her secret origin in this update, from her character story and her profile. So much for that, I was destroyed by the fact that there was nothing about it in the game. Now you're giving me hope again.
Haha, honestly, I initially thought her energy calculation system was closely tied to her biology: maybe something related to her ekanomiya heritage. However, it turned out to be a 'character quirk'. So much for that.
since the sakura tree lvl max is 40 in 2.2 and the cap for the tree is 50(+?), i think it's safe to say that the next patch will revisit the main islands or watatsumi
Im convinced, it makes way too much sense. Even the male Sumeru researcher on watatsumi theorized the were two gods instead of only Orobashi or something along those lines and he was called a heretic/blasphemous by the shrine maiden. I think he was on to something and so are you. Should have been titled "Why Kokomi is a sentient Magikarp" A Speculative Analysis. 10/10 great video.
someone drew that picture of a puppy kissing a khoi fish, as Gorou and kokomi..it's amazing how it fits so well now that kokomi is ACTUALLY based on khoi fish smh
I think Makato got transformed into the Sakura tree at Narukami Island. One can also note that the Sakura Tree absorbs and tries to contain the impurity that affects Inazuma, similar to Makato's desire to protect her homeland.
In Ei's voicelines, you'll notice that she often talks about Makoto and refers to her sister as "she" "her". She also mentioned that "she" became the sacred sakura tree and that is a form of eternity. So I believe either Makoto got absorbed, became the tree itself, or became the source of divine power of the tree. I don't know depths of Inazuma lore so this is what I speculate.
Fascinating theory. I just remembered her elemental burst is called nereid's ascension. I thought that was just kokomi awakening her dormant sea faery power, for those who doesn't know nereid is sea nymph (nymph = fairy). Fairy = Seelie too. There is also a mention that said teyvat's seelie once lived near enkonomiya, even more fascinating, isn't it? Now if we tie the eastern myth to greek myth, and other myths. Nereid do can ascend to minor sea goddess, which can ascend to greater sea goddess, poseidon's wife used to be a nereid before she become the greatest sea goddess. This makes me think that nereid's ascension is not she is awakening her dormant nereid power, but she is already a nereid starting her first step of ascension to be a water dragon one day. Another interesting things to consider is, faery or seelie or sidhe, often have their dark and light community, like seelie and unseelie, summer fae and winter fae, etc, or light elves and dark elves, they are basically the same thing. What if the people of the deeps in sangonomiya is the light version and there are their cousin still in enkonomiya
lol Genshin has quite a few chars that are set up to get some crazy power boosted forms. Maybe we will get awakenings or a seperate skill tree to unlock better moves down the line. Noel is a prime candiate. She has Tons of power but lacks experience. I suspect when she becomes a Full Blown Knight she will be something else. Lisa is clearly not fighting at full power (and might die someday soon) Kokomi a dragon waiting to be awoken? (makes me want an awakening mechanic even more.) Xiangling holds adeptal affinity?? Gouba USED to be stove god?
@@seeh7775 and kaeya will one day have to choose between mondstadt and kaenriah... and we will then know what the hell he has under his eyepatch and why he has it covered. maybe its like one of those anime thingies that supress a character's power?? lmaoooo there's a lot of characters that would be very cool to see what happens to them if mihoyo thinks of implementing such a mechanic like this one!!!!
@@muir9257 Yes Kaeya almost forgot about him! And Ashikai did her theory on hilicurl masks and eyes. Kaeya's Eye is probably special. I know under the mask Mihoyo didn't texture it at all so its most likely different than his other in some way. Can't wait to find out.
Wait a minute... Now that I think of it, Childe used the Sigils of Permission to....... huh. I wonder if other archons have different ways to handle opposing gods. Compared to Venti and Ei, Zhongli was probably the most thorough of the three so far in terms of "cleaning house." I mean, he even had five yasha help him contain the lingering rage, sealed two of his fallen foes, and personally held funerary rites of his fallen adepti and gods. I wonder if he personally ensures their souls are forever unable to rejoin their body. And that's what the sigils of permissions were originally meant for: As protective charms and wards. They may have just evolved into symbols of Morax's trust. I dunno it's just a theory. A LAME Theory! Thanks for watching!
@@winnie7668 Actually there were other gods. However he made peace with them and they became his allies and agreed to protect Mondstadt. You've met and fought 2 of them every week since the game launched. Dvalin and Andrius. Both were gods and originally were going to fight Venti, however like the bard he is he chose a more peaceful cooperative solution.
@@khrow83 Andrius I know about, he was a God, but idk about Dvalin being one. That's interesting. Is Dvalin a demon god in the Ars Goetia? That could help us identify him.
Very interesting! I love the koi and dragon connection, very astute! I’m not sold on the island itself being the body of a fallen god, since it looks like rock to me, but it’s definitely a possibility. I’m really looking forward to getting the chance to go down there, as that world quest basically guarantees we will be, in the foreseeable future. I’m hoping it’s some kind of Dragon Palace, maybe with a new world or weekly boss! An entire underwater region to explore would be amazing, but even just a cool looking domain or boss arena would suffice. I feel like the Dark Sea is a very intriguing and mysterious region. Sadly, it is often conflated with the Abyss, mostly due to the word “abyss” being used to describe the deep ocean, but I feel like there is a lot to explore there. Fighting back the invasion of sea monsters in Liyue was a major event that left a lasting impression on Zhongli, and it’s supposedly where the defeated gods in the Archon Wars fled to, being outside the jurisdiction of the Seven. Perhaps we will venture out into that unknown region in the future, after the Teyvat Chapter is concluded.
TL;DR: a synopsis on the corruption of Xiao or, rather, the lack thereof here's what's interesting about Xiao, he DID begin to succumb to his karmic debt, enough debt that he could never pay off, so much it was literally ACTUALLY eating away at his body, mind, and soul he crumpled under this is likely due to a tiny slip up by Xiao, he allowed himself to be made vulnerable by a passing thought, that, as he left the battle he was not returning home, simply leaving the battlefield, that no one would be there to defend him as he did for humanity since his tenure as a Yaksha all at once Xiao falls upon the ground, in soul rending pain, consumed by the millennia of accumulated hatred DESPITE the only thing that saved him all these years: he never felt HATRED THAT is what it hinged on, HATRED, ANGER and one of the only things that saved Xiao, was VENTI, playing the flute in the distance, mollifying his pain in an instant by soothing his turbulent soul when we saw this with the other Yakshas there was no one to stop their anger and with no one to save them from that degradation, they became lost in the sea of karmic hatred that haunts Teyvat to this very day Xiao is alive and sane for only a very few amount of reasons, he never succumbed to hatred, and his soul was quelled by the soft flute that played until dawn allowing Xiao to rise again, and a couple things i mention below thats why he's still functioning, thats why he never lost his mind or body, the karma was eating him and still is tainting him, but his inner peacefulness AND his combination of curiousity and softness to mortals, to humans, to Liyue, kept him whole Xiao is cold solely because he fears this weakness, or rather his past as a playtoy and his karmic burden, he hides this about himself his real nature, his GENTLE nature, his curiosity, his inner stability, and Venti all in combination is why Xiao is not lost to whatever you want to call this process you ARE right, Xiao is and always was built different, this was always the case, he was so powerful, so special, the ADEPTI THEMSELVES, INCLUDING the mightiest of all, Morax, ACCEPTED HIM AS THEIR OWN and acknowledged this unfaltering strength Xiao is much like his laterns, his inner fire that keeps him sustained above ground, elevates and illuminates him, he is not tethered by anger, but his hard earned freedom, much like Venti a pure child of freedom who was the second being to free him from chains
And that would be the reason why the Traveler fainted in the Delusion Factory. He was succumbing to his rage against the Fatui for what they did to the Resistance and Teppei (with Scaramouche making fun of them just to ignite that rage) and that started to ignite the power of the grudge itself, but since s/he him/herself is immune due to his/her natural ability to purify it, simply lost consciousness while his/her immune system was purifying the grudge.
The kokomi theory makes more sense now. Kois are also viewed as majestic and beautiful creature. He design is literally like that. Like she was advertised for the looks rather than abilities as well. I do hope that before Sumeru comes out, we get to go to enkanomiya tho
I absolutely love this. Has a feeling with the info sprinkled around the island but you put it so concisely. This is so much better than the current story telling. Keep doing what you're doing. And as a kokomi player, thank you!
The makes a lot of sense too because of Kokomi’s divine blood. It seems more fitting for that blood to be connected to their original deity of the Dark Sea than Orobaxi, which arrived their long after the original Watatsumi natives were established
As you touched upon in this video, gods and other god-like beings in Genshin will eventually succumb to 'erosion' one day Zhongli has entrusted Liyue to its people, the Shogun meditates to stave off that erosion... but what of Venti though? Venti was just a wind spirit once upon a time; is he susceptible to erosion as well?
@@Ashikai Wait, Ashikai, I find a similarity here, remember Jirachi from Pokemon? Sleeping a thousand years, grants wishes? Am I going somewhere with this?
Venti also doesnt rule his people directly, making him a weak god, so maybe its the immense power itself that causes erosion, since delusions feed on life force, maybe gods powers make people angry and feed off of gods emotions and memories because gods cant age like humans do because the gods can shapeshift.
The dark sea could be a very interesting plot device Mihoyo can employ. A place where fallen gods reside, and a place that was inhabited by the Seelies. It makes me wonder if the people of Khaenri'ah were originally people of the Dark Sea, and if it was, could that be another reason why to the gods of Celestia dislike the people of Khaenri'ah. Maybe the Dark Sea is where the knowledge of the people of Khaneri'ah came from, maybe their knowledge came from the fallen gods of the Dark Sea.
Been thinking 'bout some random thematic connections between _Erosion/Corrosion,_ the _Dark Sea_ and the _Abyss:_ Erosion seemingly leads to a loss of *self* and *identity;* beings "from" the Abyss (mostly "cursed" after the fall of Khaenri'ah) seemingly lose (or simply don't express, for yet unknown reasons) their *individuality* and any features related to that - mostly notable, they don't have a "face" per se, being identical to any other of similar power on their hierarchy (Hili, Mita, Lawa, Sama churls)... they lose reason and become pure reason and sentiment - strong negative feelings lingering on and becoming curses (?); ...From what little we know of the *Art of Khemia,* it seems almost impossible to grow food and plants (or simply for "spontaneous", naturally-occurring life to thrive) inside of the Abyss... This would funnily justify why the Unusual Hilichurl carries a suitcase full of Cabbages (to smuggle into the Abyss with his portal, then get rich heh) and make that random book from Raiden's "Hangout" event, _"The Good Thing About Being Reincarnated as a Hilichurl Is That I Only Need to Eat Sunsettias to Become Stronger"_ strangely *canon* as, maybe, Hilichurls who finally stop being picky about just eating meat to then gobble their vegetables like little kids power up into Mitachurls, LOL (this also "explains" why there are so many vegetables on the boxes around Hilichurl bases? ahahaha)... ...but the point here being that *food decay* is a theme to both the Abyss and the Dark Sea (even if, in the case of Sangonomiya Island vs. Enkanomiya, it is because the body and soul of "God Gyarados" periodically want to reunite and then nutrients get sapped from Kokomi home's soil and whatnot)... ...It's almost like we have a closed loop of *Life* (thriving in Teyvat) and *Death/Decay* (central at the Abyss and maybe also on the Dark Sea) creeping everywhere we look? Dunno how much this _natural order_ of things _(life, reproduction, death, rebirth or new life)_ corresponds or relates to the seemingly-warped vision and rule held by Celestia through the *Heavenly Principles* (as in, _progress_ or some other arbitrary metric is used to periodically "reset" entire civilizations?); ... This could relate to the Dendro Archon in some way, too... as Fungi are associated with that passage from "death" into new life which closes the cycle? I don't even know what I am going about RN but damn, your video was good Ashikai. :P
This reminds me of Mesopotamian myth and Marduk. The sons of the gods once slayed their father, and used their body as a home. Tiamat, who grew mad, tried to kill all of them only for the gods to be guided by Marduk and slay her instead, creating the earth and sky.
"Oh No BuT GeNsHiN ImPaCt DoSeNt HaVe EnOuGh CoNtEnT" Jokes aside I am so excited for future updates since they teased that will be going to the dark sea/Enkonomiya. Throughout Inazuma I find Watatsumi Island's small lore so interesting since it reminds me of Atlantis and that one children fairy tail whose name I can't remember rn
Now I'm waiting for the gameplay changing skin (like in honkai) who will make of Kokomi a S tier unit. This way I will be mocking the people that told me that pulling for her was stupid! Mouhahah! (
Once again im out here making connections to SU....dragon heir is like the cluster trying to reform itself. That aside, its honestly interesting how the gods from the archon war never really 'died' I didn't really give it much thought until now and will be paying more attention in story quests to come
I'm hoping that kokomi gain some importance in some new content in genshin .... They said she is a great strategist but she didn't get a big participation in 2.0 and 2.1, even in her story quest. It would be nice to see her like ningguang act in the leyue quest.
Everytime i hear you say "Lingering Hatred" i instinctively chide "Karma..." Splendid video as always, mate. I am just too lazy to involve real world sources (Sola-Scriptura moment) so your video really helps me see things in new light.
I think erosion can be seen as how humans experience deterioration when aging. Like Alzheimer's and dementia. Which is quite common. It makes them angry, confused and forgetful.
Then why is bard boy Venti not worried at all about erosion? If Azdaha was an elemental and got corrupted then venti could get corrupted too, possibly Venti is immune to corrosion.
Genshin really knows how to keep the suspense... Like they're not showing what the stones in watatsumi are supposed to be used for. Also, now it kinda makes sense. Why kokomi didn't get much screen time during the archon quest. The quest was mostly centered on raiden and narukami... They'll probably reveal all the cards later and make kokomi the central figure. This division make sense too based on geography since Inazuma is an archipelago. Narukami and Watatsumi are like different worlds. Narukami is like the "central" , the mainland ... when one says inazuman.. it's likely to point to a narukami local... The people on the Watatsumi on the other hand are from the provinces... With their different culture and leadership.
There is a researcher by the name of Kushik from Sumeru to the right of the Watatsumi Statue Of The Seven and he says that the Snake slain by Raiden and Watatsumi Omikami are two different snakes because there are two different kind of scales or something idk I just wanted to put that out
I am in love with how you turn my skepticism from the start of the video into belief by the end of the video. Thank you so much for your time and effort in making these lore-stuffed videos! I keep looking forward to them :)
Another great video! The part about gods not being able to die got me wondering if Oz could be that bird we see get slain during Ei's flashback (well and also because of another thing I don't want to spoil for people who haven't seen it yet if you know what I mean).
