I have an approximate knowledge of a great many things, and I use that knowledge to make Genshin Impact Theory and Lore Videos!

I don't know if you're gonna reply to this or not, but I do have a question. does wanderer (post archon Quest) count as a Xian? considering he's a puppet, immortal and got a vision from the god, but also since he's a puppet does he even have "elemental" thing inside his body that can make him count as a "cultivator"? I'm genuinely curious
my favourite part of watching old videos is hearing ashikai being illegally correct about something that cant be connected to its subject yet like reborn dragon allegations
the concept of outside forces taking over the land and ruling for a time despite not being native to the land (and this happening multiple times) reminds me of the mythos of ireland, where ireland was invaded six times, the fifth invasion being the gods and the final invasion being the people of ireland. it could be a stretch but it would tie into genshin’s use of the triquetra and the triskelion as those symbols are incredibly sacred to celtic culture and mythology
Geo elements are gold In chinese esoteric, there is a book, "The Secret of the Golden Flower." 太乙金华宗旨 Is about how one reach their Enlightenment. The concept is very similar to Kabbalah. Ein Sof. The book is basic tell that initially. There is nothing in this world, but void. Due to an explosion. Light form cosmos form . There are residue of energy known as 真气 which I believe link to Anemo
When I did the quest about him learning the truth about his past and... Allowing to push reset as Nahida's shadow helper (at least getting new ability to trust others, if nothing else), I went from hating him to loving him, dearly. That quest transformed him from a weak, narrow minded, whiny kid to a down to Earth, wisened up adult, who was able to face the hurdles of life head on. Which mad him somehow both relatable and awesome. Also, his errased version seemed to be such a kind hearted, caring soul... It gave a glimps into what he could have been if all the horrors of his life doesn't happen... Which showed that deep down he is a good person... He is a parallel to our lives. We all have an innate potential (to be good, strong, successful - perfect as a human can be) but as time goes, we constantly face adversity, which can gauge our ability to reach that ideal state. That gauged state can make us look - and feel - worthless, useless or evil, which can isolate us from others. And while it is not impossible to destroy those suppressing constraints on our own, we often need to learn to accept - and provide - help to succeed. Once we do, we - and our trusing community - can start to work on correcting our flaws and towards reaching that potential - ideal - state. The story of the wanderer is a warm reminder for us all about what life is about, how it's never to late or futile to change, and it gives both comfort and hope. Nicely done, Hoyo
The sta drilling thing is honestly what i love about myths/legends ifk which. You can here some nonsensical stuff like this without priper explanation from the story itself and still makes sense since u visualize it on ur own and make sense of it. I see this happen in a lot of stories in my literature subjects and its honestly neat. Like suddenly the most villainous character randomly makes a deal with the hero suddenly hes a loyal follower of said hero. I cant specify any stories but i vaguely remember tese type of stuff happening :')
This lore guides are so insightful and well explained. I started playing HSR a while ago and breezed through the story, just focusing on the gameplay, but then i started to feel i was missing something. Thank you for recapping it so succinctly 🙌 Can you do something with Penacony and Jarilo VI?
Thank you so much for these videos 🫶🏼💕 I have adhd and washing the dishes is a titanic chore for me at times but I just play one of your videos and Im able to go through a full load without hating every second of it, so my clean kitchen also thanks you 🥰
So celestia has been practicing acupuncture on Teyvat with the celestial nails huh Edit: wrote the comment too soon and ended up predicting part of the video
The penguin story was emotional, but I didn't understand why Hoyo was showing us that story. It seemed so strange. I think it makes sense now. Thank you
Thank you for a great analysis, as always! I'm always looking forward to watch your new, but also some older videos as a recap of older quests and knowledge for a new Dains chapter in 4.8. I have my question though: As you spoken of thar only one eye thing, my instant thought was of Odin and him sacrificing one of his eyes for knowledge. What do you think, is it possible, that delusion bearer are need to sacrifice they eye for their new gained power, literally or metaphorically? And another one question: do you have something to say about all that new one eyed / blinded enemies of Inazuma / Sumeru / Fontaine in this context? It would be great, if you might take some notes in one of your future videos on that topic. Thanks a lot and much appreciated for your work!
Hey Ashikai, I just want to say that if you ever did a deep dive into something outside of Genshin that you reference in these videos, like for example the Ring Cycle, that would be really fun to watch.
I'm coming back to this video after Alrecchino's story quest and damn.. makes u wonder what the others will be like in the future. Cause i myself thought arlecchino wouldn't be higher than pantellone and dottore and was more scared about them but i was completely wrong 💀(she is still lower in rank than dottore tho and I'm kinda more interested after Nahida's speech about the first 3 Harbingers being equal if not stronger than gods) Gonna come back after the next harbinger release :D
mmm... that whole story about the sea being a metaphor for space and one traveler being stuck in a planet is awfully similar to the current HSR Penacony storyline
Sorry but the whole Harunosuke thing falls apart the moment you genuinely look into his lore lol timeline doesn't really match up well and it's very convenient that you left out the fact that he practiced youkai arts which is what he *mixed* with adepti arts. Miko also was never said to have learned from him, that is a theory based on one chinese character which doesn't really hold up much because there's no real support for this claim nor do you seem to provide any sources. This whole thing is based on pure assumptions and ultimately just does one thing: glazing a man while devaluing a woman
I also believe that what Vanessa saw upon entering that celestial panopticon was a Giant Crimson Eyed Moon. Floating above the central pillar in the manga you can see what maybe the hanging optic nerves of a giant eye but the rest of the shape is intentionally hidden from the reader by light. I think the fire from this vengeful giant eye may have separated Vanessa’s thoughts from her elemental body and that the body flies out and reforms into a hawk while the thoughts and memories are recycled. I can’t help but feel like the Sustainer of Heavenly Principles and the Crimson Moon are both aspects of istaroth similar to how Themis and Nemesis are aspects of a similar concept of order. I also think that they are both partially corrupted due to forbidden knowledge being brought to celestia during the war with the second throne and that’s why they both have red and black coloring….it would be tragic if they were the only gods left aware in heaven…what if poor Istaroth is alone and suffering 😢”To live forever without hope, truly must be torture”
Also am I the only one who noticed that Piamon’s clothes specifically her flared cuffs on her sleeves resemble the base of the statues of the seven after it’s been fully upgraded with oculi? They have the same flared base as her cuffs
Big hole in this theory is if paimon can breathe underwater I definitely, why did the travler have to save her from drowning? Unless it was a set up 😱DUN DUN DUNNNN! Plot twist
Additionally reason for why the weaker Archons were chosen during the war was that the stronger ones had more elemental power locked inside their physical forms and their destruction was needed to release that energy back into Teyvat in order to help heal it from the damages it suffered. Strong had to be sacrificed so that the meek can inherit the world.
Makes me also think that the Archon war…killing all those minor deities who had the elemental energy locked in their forms..would release a lot of creation energy back into the world. Could be a helpful way to re-stabilize a damaged or dying Teyvat…ya know if the Heavenly nails ain’t pulling their weight.
Hmm I wonder if the Primordial One is the Dominant mind of the dream world of all Teyvat and the people of the world are its “fate bound” sentient fragments…sure hope the PO don’t wake up.
When you think about it like that, than Zhongli giving up his Gnosis IS his way off giving up his claim on the throne. He gave up ALL the connections to godhood
