Good session brother. Infraction looks so good out there. Love all the mod you did! Sounded awesome on those straightaway passes. Sucks on the exploded center diff. Makes me wonder how good of an idea is the hand brake locking the rear on the throttle 🤔🤔. Hope you can resolve this issue with horizon coz this is a Sweet ride that needs to be out there rippin for sure.

The hand break is not ment to be used under throttle. It is used to start the slide by locking only the rear wheels. Or if under throttle just a quick tap not holding it under full throttle. Picture a real awd car. When they drift they just hit the e brake quick then back on the throttle.
@@rddowler211yeah, most people don't read the part in the instructions where it says don't touch the trigger while hitting the e-brake. I'm happy my Felony has no e-brake because I know I'd get trigger happy and blow the center diff on accident. It's bad enough buying new tires every run, I don't wanna worry about my diff too.
Dude, the handbrake is only meant to be tapped at neutral throttle at speed to kick the back end out, then apply full throttle to drift around or come to a sliding stop. Kinda like how rally drivers use their handbrakes. Beautiful truck man none the less, get her fixed and enjoy.
Even without reading the manual, if one understands how the center diff works in relation to the balance between the front and rear wheels, they wouldn't attempt to do such. Anyway, nice informative video. I hope everyone learns from it, even those who don't have the v2 infraction. Honest mistake there. Thanks for showing it so the rest won't suffer the same fate. Thanks for this video. I’ve read through the manual online as I’m still waiting for my infraction V2 in the mail. It’s says don’t use the handbrake and throttle/brake at the same time... what it doesn’t say is WHY! I’m glad I watched this because the first thing I was going to do was try it out and see what happened. Turns out you shouldn’t even do it a small amount! Sorry you had to find out the hard way but thanks for sharing to save us making the same mistake.

I installed the handbrake on my Limitless with a custom spool that has outdrives with flat spots for the brake disk to install over. With the spool installed, the hand brake provides 4 wheel braking. I only use the hand brake in emergencies when I need to stop quickly to avoid a collision. It works very effectively and stops much quicker than just relying on motor braking. I noticed after several high speed passes and general bashing, the brakes start to fade as the motor heats up, so having the hand brake is an invaluable feature to have.
@@MoBay876rc I have mine geared very conservatively so I can enjoy driving it front of my house (my street is not very long). I'm using a Hobbywing Max6 ESC, Surpass Hobby 4074 2000KV motor on 6S Li-Po. I run a 46 tooth spool and a 20 tooth pinion. I've gotten her up to 72 MPH easily even with very little space. My PB is 98.2 MPH with the 34 tooth spool and 27 tooth pinion over at an abandoned shopping mall near my house. I could usually get several back-to-back high-speed passes before the motor starts to get hot - the ESC always runs cold as ice. The Limitless, Infraction and Felony are awesome vehicles and very easy to make them go fast.

Love it, looks exactly like mine😍 Yeah the directions say no throttle with the ebrake, so why have it right? I put the speed gear on and hit 90mph and used the ebake as assist to stop. What a vehicle, really gets the blood flowing🤣

I just picked up my v2 infraction. I actually read the instructions first which I never do and they tell you not to throttle with the hand break or you will blow your diff. Hopefully it was an easy fix for you

Yeah dude. It’s operator error that horizon likely won’t pay for. The hand brake is not applied from a stand still, it’s applied only at a designated speed, for a split second or two, right before you want to enter a drift. When the rear slides out, you release the brake, and immediately add throttle and watch the car hold that drift nicely. Adding power while holding the brake is NOT what that brake is for; it says that in the manual. Watch how Ken Block or actual drifters apply the handbrake. It’s never from a standstill.

I literally did the same thing this week to my Felony that I added ebrake.. I caught it quick and didn't damage it but I still bought a whole diff w spur assembly from Jenny's rc
@@MoBay876rc not so lucky...crashed into a pole near a median and bent the chassis even more than it was..this was also due to having stupid aluminum parts on the bottom - never doing that again!!!

If it makes you feel any better I broke the lower control arm on my XMaxx right out the box. Serious, I punched it, went about 10’ (if that) and BAM!! Hit the only mailbox post on my curbless street. MOBAY 876 RC I’m 2 deep in the XMaxx bs now. One is mod and one is 100% scratch build just not finished yet with Integy servo rack, leopard 1700 KV Max 6 and all kinda cash in that trash lol. Russian V2 body, Savox, 2X Turnigy 5.0 5000mah HD, etc.. it’s always about getting the time to finish it you know. Then something else comes out like this V2. I almost did the V1 but like I said, DAAAAMNN!!! that V2 looks sick and it’s on the way!!! Alway diggin’ your uploads man. RCFOLIFE!!! 💪
Bud that thing motors!! I would like one.. An E BRAKE! Hmm arrma really tested that well..gutted for you bud.. i would never use it! Love your high speed passes.. Arrma really needs to sort out it problems. Testing and fixing issues and the biggest one quality control.. I have a couple of arrma rc's you can never take out the box and run straight away.. always something wrong.. lol but i do love my outcast 6s. I do think the parts should be a lot cheaper considering traxxas parts are like half the price.
I love that truck. Been into the Kratons just built an EXB but thinking I want to get into street cars. They seem to break less and I find myself driving in parking lots alot so why not get a road car or truck instead.

Yeah its definitely fast not a big fan of the hand break but it was my fault for not reading the manual your spouse to tap it instead of hold it for a few seconds like I did be back up and running soon new diff on the way 🤣
Bad idea to stand on that hand brake while on power. Hand brake isn’t designed for doing front wheel burn outs. I have a the v2 infraction and love the hand brake. But you gotta learn how to use it correctly. Low to mid speeds it works great. Definitely not a good idea to use at higher speeds.

How do you find those Zeee 100c Graphine 3S batteries compared to other batteries? Yes I saw them in your Mojave and they seemed to rip, but I don't know how they compare to some of the other batteries you have. Are they better then spectrum, high discharged gens ace, Turnigy Graphine, or CHNL batteries ect..
@@MoBay876rc Ok thanks, I just brought a pair of Zeee Graphine batteries for my brother's 6S boat as regular batteries don't cut it, get hot, LVC too early due to voltage sag ect.. and have once even exploded, only decent battery to use was the Turnigy Graphine batteries which work a treat but are $100 AUD each plus postage. I own a regular 2S Zeee 5200mah 50c hard case I use in 1/10 scales which I'm quite happy with when I say for sale these 100C Graphine packs with XT90's as standard (same as my brother's boat) and 10awg wire at only just over $50 AUD each with free postage seemed like a good buy. The Graphine technology on the Turnigy and from what I've heard CNHL G+ series batteries really make a difference, I'm hoping these Zeee Graphine ones will perform just as well 👍🏻
