He will be back to Orangie when he gets back from his long trip with Shannon. The suspense is a good thing, I think, because we don't want to take our beloved jeep for granted.
@16:55 is an example of why we bring a long handle shovel. Trail maintenance is not just removing fallen trees from the trail, but enough to allow us to continue on our adventure, but to also follow up with notifying the appropriate agency. My thought is if the agency does not know where a trail needs maintenance, they won't know to fix it. Working together is a win-win. Thanks for sharing.
What I love about your videos is they are authentic! This is what and how it happened. I’m digging your adventures Chris! You seem to find it no matter where you and Shannon go! And I think you’ve proven that a Winnebago Revel can be a serious off-road overlander!
Spent some time in that part of the world when I was a kid. Did a bicycle trip from San Juan islands to San Francisco. Gorgeous part of the country. Seeing this brings me back in time 37 years ago or so.. thanks for this
Chris and Shannon I’m enjoying your adventures. I know people complain about this or that at times, they’ve got to remember it’s your channel and none of us are getting any younger. Creature comforts become more important as we age… So, ask her already 💍
Thanks for taking me along on your adventures Chris and Shannon. I think it's great that you have different ways of exploring this world, my husband and I do as well and it's all good. Even though the vibe of the channel has changed, that's a good thing! From Chris' early days with basic equipment and technology, to the polished overlanding videos in Orangie, to the gradual introduction of Shannon to the channel. I can see you experimenting with how you want to express yourself to fit the way your life is evolving. I'm rooting for you! Change and growth are all part of this adventure called Life. Safe travels!
Great video , I see your were in Tofino , a must if visiting Vancouver Island . Glad to see you made it to the mainland and visited some of our amazing landscapes and water falls. Please keep up the good work you & Shannon are doing .
Shelf roads aren't my friends, under even the best of conditions. The shelf roads you navigated in this video 'bout stopped my heart a time or 2, even though I was seated on my living room couch. Great scenery, though.
Can't lie. I miss Chris and Orangey on the endless journey. At the same time adapting to the duo takes you back to your roots. The added marketing Ads I could do without ... Alphabet Corp. or Creator consider as they apply
Liked the team work on the turn around. Good job you two! “Elbow grease and curse words” - overlanders best tools! Thanks for the out loud surprise laugh! Love this channel!!!!❤️
Chris, you need to get yourself an electric chainsaw for the van, not only for those times when you want to go where “I wonder where this ends up” but also to clear tracks for emergency vehicle vehicle access other than that great time and good to see Shannon keeping you in line😂👍
love your videos every week, been watching for years. However I have always wondered why you dont carry a small Electric chainsaw? you could easily cut small down trees and branches from the trail instead of having to turn around.
Chris actually scares me. To me he seems to push the safety limits that I wouldn't push. He goes to the edge that I want to scream "STOP!" I have seen other offroaders that do the same thing... I see them park on the edge of a cliff only to see by drone the ground under their vehicle had already fallen away. Please be safe you two. At times you're a long ways from help.. I hope you carry a PLB on hikes and in your travels. God Bless.
