I run a muffler shop with my uncle in western NC. You did a good job. I just put true duals on both of my Silverados recently and I ran the pipes the same way. I ran black widow mufflers on both trucks, we sell quite a few of the black widows. They have several different kinds of mufflers. The "angry housewife" and "race venom" sound good. They have some called "neighbor hater" and they are rowdy. Check them out
The engine isn’t high revving, it has a stock factory cam that maxes out around 5,000 rpm. I thought about putting the “H” on it, but my cousin put an “H” pipe on his Mustang and it droned at low rpm.
@@jonhammond2281 h pipes boost low end torque and make the engine operate more efficiently and burn exhaust gasses better. The drone is secondary 3rd or 4th occurring. It'll make your muscle car feel sound and smell like one. Also it was on a mustang so it wasn't droning it was just looking for it's next crowd of victims. I got some exhaust pipes made a bit ago and wanted h or x pipe but didn't get that lucky the exhaust shop wouldn't do it. I'll do it myself. I got some drone with my exhaust but it's at like 3 places. I like loud exhaust and mine is to quiet even before. So it actually lets me hear it again. Also lastly my cam isn't rated for much more than ur factory one rpm range wise. 1500-5000 rpms but a vast improvement all the way through. And makes a huge diff on these motors. Think the gm hot cam but much better
@@ramrunnergarage5941 yeah look up SRC channel. Famous no prep racer. The truck itself is a twin Turbo 421 sbc. But it has the same decals and coloring.
