I wish I could meet the pilots on my next flight, it would help my nerves so much. I hate flying but being in a long distance relationship Forces me to travel (my husband is worth it, I'm just a wimp)
Samuel, don't let something of no importance, like your school grades put you off if you have a passion for aviation. I had poor grades too, particularly in maths and the sciences, yet completed my ATPL studies with a 94% average. Studying is totally different when you have an interest, passion and determination, and so are the results. I started my airline career at the late age of 39, yet despite this and my poor school grades I have been a B737-300/900 captain for companies in Europe, The Middle East and China. My advice to you, don't give up before you have even started to fight for something, if this is what you want to do, then go for it and don't let irrelevant things put you off.
@@nickbellamy2859 Agree completely. My grades in school were lacklustre, but now at age 32 I've got a final interview in a few days for a pilot job at my preferred airline. Determination and resilience are the key.
