Glad this could help. Still finding pieces left and right in myself and letting pieces go. Life. Is. Everything. It is all we can know. Carry on carry on
I think you find things when you need to, I'm 29 and have really been thinking about being a plumber, I haven't had the best life, I've struggled with depression and anxiety for most of my life, I've only just started a path to try to fix that, covid and 2 kids later has made me realize I'm not the person I want to be, and finally decided to get better. Your words have inspired and encouraged me. I like your introspection on life. Much love thank you. keep doing you!
Looking to get into my local union here in CA. Watched all your plumbing related videos. Thank you for sharing your experiences, it has helped me solidify my decision. Looking forward to more union videos!
Andrew! You are welcome! Really glad to hear it has helped. It is such a journey and before you get yourself involved there is a lot to consider. So I'm glad it's helped you make that choice more clear! Ask away if I didn't cover something in a video:) way to go!
I don't give a shit about plumbing, but I've watched your videos for years because of nuggets like this. The way you process your thoughts on here is so rare and so genuine, and I'm just reaching out to say thanks for doing this kind of stuff; especially this video, because I needed to hear it.
Now this is an honest comment. Hahaha love it. Thank you brother. Learning to communicate my thoughts seems so odd. But than I hear stuff like yours and am so thankful it connects. Man so good feeling! Thank you for leaving a comment and letting me know:) truly!
Brother.. You're such an inspiration. I hope there are more people like you out in the trades. I'm looking into transitioning careers into Plumbing (new construction) but my depression and anxiety has gotten in the way. Since I will be starting with zero experience, my fear is facing a lot of the old school harsh mentality and attitude that a lot of the more experienced people have. Is this something you experience a lot on your site? If so, how did you overcome or avoid it throughout your experience?
Much love! And I've been on anti depression for.almost 5 years. Take it. Make it happen. Get out of your own way and face your fears. You'll love yourself more. And sure it's tough at times but I've heard it said..."hard is good." Sooo anyway, I hear what your saying but you can't try to figure out all the things that might happen or could happen. If you want a great lifestyle and career I've found here. But I believe more people could do this but don't believe in themselves.
I'll try! Hard to set up a camera and what not when doing service jobs but I'll do my best. Just go do plumbing though! Hahaha same thing. I'm hear to help people get into plumbing not really show them how to plumb:) but thanks for the input
