I was one of the original alpine slide kids! When it was concrete and where sugar mtn. ski slopes are now! Road horses at the stables of Phil Hoffman, swam in the pool on sugar mtn.! I love my Appalachian mountain home! Born and raised and where I’ll die! 🥰🙌🏼❤️🙏🏼✝️

I live in a college town just north of Houston Texas. I've vacationed in the rocky mountains too many times over the last few years and am kind of sick of it. The rockies are so overrated. I'm looking into a new spot to visit and think Appalachia might be the perfect fit. I love the culture, the food, the music, the mythology and definitely the moonshine! Lol thanks for sharing. It looks gorgeous out there!
