People wonder why so many left the hospital over a little forced shot. I feel it was ethics about more than just the shot. Am I allowed to say that? Am I allowed to think and speak from experience? I am not giving medical advice, we all know only one side of that is allowed, and it's not the side that I saw people helped with so I can't say much more than I have said.

I wish they'd been less one-sided, a lot of people have good reason to hold out, and honestly a more nuanced and thought-out skit could have been funnier. Idk I never find it funny when a skit is just "this side is right this side is wrong." Ever since the trump presidency started SNL has been really condescending and self-righteous, they used to kind of play to both sides and still managed to make funny skits.

You'd be surprised how many healthcare workers aren't taking the vaccine. As someone who works in the profession, I didn't get it because I know how long it takes for drugs to get approved. Also with me being only 30 and no health complications, I'm more likely to die driving to work than to COVID.

They framed it as black people don't trust the vaccine, but the truth is, poor people don't trust the vaccine. Especially in the south. I'm white and nobody in my family wants to take it.

Yep. People are supposed to feel better this time because the experiment isn't limited to black people this go 'round. But truthfully, we're all the experiment this 'round, white people included. It doesn't make me feel better, as demonstrated in this skit, that white people are taking it too. Just means we're all guinea pigs. As i said below: Each character seemed to have a silly, uninformed reason why they weren't getting vaccinated. But they could've had at least one who made actual valid points about why they weren't taking the vaccine, to balance it out. Then it could've concluded with the doctor worrying or at the very least considering both sides. But instead, like most people in these comments, they'd rather depict those who take the vaccine as the intellectuals and those who don't as the incompetent. This doesn't surprise me and will continue until we all feel peer-pressured into taking it. Honestly, it's probably more about money (NBC getting some kind of funding or sponsorship from vaccine companies or the gov't to promote them), than actual ethics.
