Wow! This is literally My Watch on review! I just took delivery of this beauty yesterday. As much as I love it in this video, which I am archiving, It's exponentially more beautiful in the metal. I've owned a lot of luxury time pieces Patek, Journe, Rolex and Audemars. However, this is without question on of the best pound for pound watches I've ever experienced in the hand and on wrist. The complete character of the watch changes with each bracelet and strap change! It is indeed 3 watches in one. In conclusion I will say this: This is the one and only time piece you will ever need. It does everything!

Gorgeous piece. I really appreciate how Vacheron has made this three distinctly different pieces with the additional straps and quick change deployant clasp. You should mention how the clasp is also easy to switch between the leather and rubber strap. Still best on bracelet to me though.

@@bitcoinethereum9702 I’d rather them get rid of the sub-minute indices which are useless on a non-chronograph watch. And in that it’s called the “Overseas”, the name of which itself implies that it’s a traveler’s watch, I’d like to see them replace the sub-minute indices with a 24 hour scale and add in a fourth, GMT hand to make it an actual traveler’s watch.

All gen 3 Overseas is the watch to beat at this price range, but, for me, the chrono with reverse panda dial is the best of all gen 3.

Comfortable and beautiful watch, mesmerising blue dial and come with easily change straps and bracelet. Excellent caliber to see through see through exhibition case back. A must have for watch enthusiasts. I’m lucky to get mine last year before the big jump in the past few months.

I own this and its my daily wear on the blue rubber strap. That dial in daylight looks just like the FP Jorne Conometre Bleu, I get so many compliments on it.

I do like it a lot; a whole lot in fact! But I’d tweak the design just a little bit if I were VC. I’d get rid of the sub-minute indices which are useless on a non-chronograph watch. And in that it’s called the “Overseas”, the name of itself implies that it’s a traveler’s watch, I’d replace the sub-minute indices with a 24 hour scale and add in a fourth, GMT hand to make it an actual traveler’s watch - right here on the base model watch (yes, I know they make a GMT variant but I’m less fond of that particular variant). Then, use push-buttons that are screwed into the case to plus or minus the 12-hour hand. And an AR PVD on the crystal would be nice. Sounds like a lot, but what I suggest is actually very little.

Tynchy. I agree with you. But for me is important the Water Résistance and the Bracelet. I have the VC and other Watches with haking sec. And i dont miss the haking sec. Greetings

If F.P. Journe says hacking seconds is bad for the movement and places unnecessary stress and wear on the balance wheel then I think Vacheron and other non-hacking haute horology brands are good. If I want to keep great time with a “mechanical” watch, a quartz or Spring Drive Grand Seiko can fill that role in my collection.
