Vacuum Assist Setup of the Pattern - Video 3 

After the 1/2 round impression has been formed it’s time to put the ring pattern onto the correct insert and make the impression of the top part of the ring. Once the impression is made it’s time to add the top half of the flask to create the impression of the shank or bottom half of the ring. ***Don’t hammer the sand in place, just pack it down using a dowel or other tool.
