Vader was one of my favorites. Growing up in the NWA to WCW transition, I naturally loved all of the baby faces but later when BVV came down the pike, he was the first heel that I ever rooted for. The big dude scared the begeesus out of me the first time I saw him at ring side so I figured it was safer to be with him than against him. lol RIP Leon!
Just subscribed. Impressive content! Life long wrestling fan and produced many wrestling video games. getting back into the older shows and you channel is excellent! keep up the great work!
Its true what he was saying and he was smart cause all wrestlers were having problems with getting paid even we that were security for wwc when matches were on were having problems getting paid i remembered working for whole month without pay when we were supposed to get paid every week..
Shows what you know. Guy was a legend in Japan, and had a great run in WCW with top guys like Sting, Mick Foley, Ric Flair, etc. But he worked too stiff for the WWF, and especially guys like Shawn Michaels didn't want to work with him, so instead of going about it the right way he just buried him in the ring. Also Vince wasn't eager to push him because he didn't own the trademark to Vader's name, I think he originally wanted to call him "The Mastodon" instead. He was a main event guy all the way.
