Great video man, and amazing collection. I'm looking to buy a blue saberforge saber, but I'm undecided about the shade. In your opinion, which one looks better in person: arctic blue or deep blue? (or any other shade of blue). Also, which one looks best with a photon blade?
+Lenfal Well.. What kind of blue are you going for? the arctic blue is more of an Original trilogy blue, and the medium and deep blue is more of a prequel kind. I had a deep blue in my Rebel and it was very nice. The best with a photon blade would be the deep blue i guess. I've never had a light or medium blue. Hope this helped!

+Lenfal it's a very nice, light blue. I really enjoyed it! And hmm.. I've never tried an arctic blue with the photon blade so I'm not sure how that would look. And the photon blade only works with a blue led. If you use a green led, it won't look as bright like with a blue. No worries! Ask away!
Hey Dave, nice video. I wish I had seen your video before purchasing my photon green blade. I didn't know that I needed a blue led. my saber is green, so there is not much difference between the two blades. still cool though. ...how about putting a white blanket on the floor for the sabers...
+Bryce Chue Yes you can! I've used mine to duel with my brother and they hold up just fine! They are the exact same as their regular blades, only with color.
+David Perez Hey bud, I own a Photon blade and you are right they totally rule and are absolutely lovely. However, are you sure those are duel ready? It "feels" like it might be more brittle than regular polycarbonite? I've ordered from both VV and SF and the CS is okay at SF, but is fantastic at VV.
+david guipre yes they are! I've used mine in place of the regular blade and it holds up great. If you still feel that way, we do now carry a heavy grade version of it!
would it be possible for you to show me what a 12w+ red led from saberforge looks like in a clear and trans white tube from VV for comparison? that would really help a bunch!
hi David thank you for your video. I've been convinced that I'm going to buy a photon blade but now I'm on the market for a hilt. I spoke with vadervault today and they say that they're hilts have the brightest LED's but I wanted to get your opinion. Do you think the saberforge 12 watt is brighter?
+Mark M You won't regret the photon blade! and no. the 12w is childs play in comparison to VV's Suncrusher LED. their LED combined with their blades give you the brightest sabers on the market right now.
+Millicente With my VV sabers it is actually brighter with the regular blue as opposed to a darker blue. I asked the owners which one was better, and they told me that a regular blue is brighter as opposed to a Royal blue. Not entirely sure why, but that was the answer. Hope this helped!
Would you recommend the saberforge yellow, i know which hilt i want to get (consular) but i'm struggling on which colour or watt (6 or 12) can you help me out?
Yes I do! I actually have 2 consulars in 12W yellow. I think going for a 12W over the 6W is totally worth it. And the yellow is beautiful! That and the green are my two favorites from the ones I own.
+OfficialPaulBlake Yes. All the standard blades and day blades will be lighter and brighter than a SF V4 blade. The HG blades from VV may be the same weight since both are thick walled, but I haven't compared brightness on those.
That's good because i'll be going to a con in my grey jedi outfit and the SF V4 blade might be durable, but it's heavy ass hell :D and for that i ordered the Blue DayBlade. Thanks for fast reply ! :)
so what are all the websites that make these, i want to get one so bad but i dont know from were to buy it from which one is better quality i dont want to buy one and end up with a poorly made saber or that after a while it will stop working or something, i will not use it to duel just for show. 👌🏼👌🏼

hey buddy, I'm considering ordering a yellow Consular Lightsaber and I already have a 12w Green Rebel, would it be possible to have a brightness comparison between your 12w Yellow and your 12w green ?

+Kaptajn Lobo out of those three, VV would be the best option. If you want something quick and cheap, go US. Go check them out, pick some you like, and then do some research. I'm here if you have any questions.
+Kaptajn Lobo If you put into consideration all the features their sabers come with and compare it with a saber with similar features from US or SF, VV is the better option and will last much longer.
+Lotus Eater Machine Well the VV Day blades I have are thin walled blades. Saberforge only uses thick walled blades. VV does have thick walled blades, but their blade of choice is the thin wall. If you put a VV thin wall against the SF V4 blade, the V4 will win every time. But if you use VV's thick wall, it will hold up perfectly fine. Anytime you use a blade to duel make sure you use the right one vs someone else so no one's blade breaks. Hope this answered the question!

I've seen a blue and red thick walled day blade before. and oh I've dueled with them pretty hard. They can take quite the beating. But if you'd really like the thick walled blade, just let them know!
+Lotus Eater Machine I would assume it would be a $5 upcharge. Their regular blades are $30 and their heavy grades are $35. So its totally worth it, in my opinion
+DaFuzzBug Let me start off with this... There are two main types of blades for sabers. Thick walled and thin walled. SaberForge's infinity V4 is a thick wall blade. Vaders Vault's main blade is a thin wall blade. They do offer thick wall blades, but it costs about $5 more (I think). There is absolutely no reason to have thick wall blades. If you take two thin wall blades and beat the crap out of each other with them, they will not break (assuming they were properly made). They will scuff and make marks, but that is it. Same with the thick wall blades. The issue comes up when you duel a thick wall vs a thin wall blade. The thick wall will always win. Main reason is weight, and the way it was made. It is a bit more durable. But to answer your question, yes. Vaders Vault's blades are just as durable, if not more durable than an infinity v4
doesn't look too bright. my saberforge blade looks like a cheap piece of plastic with a flashlight attached. I just ordered my SF exhalted and will custom buy a 2 foot one inch diameter rod made of high reflecting quartz crystal. obviously you can't dual with but it will be an awesome show piece at Halloween. it's the only way to get it looking realistic.
+FrostyFrodo Yes I would! They make high quality sabers and are rated for hardcore dueling. Just make sure to use the appropriate blade type when dueling. Thin vs thin or thick vs thick walled. DO NOT use thin vs thick. That is how the thin wall breaks..

+The Carter85 i own one of these and its nothing like sunriders destiny. its a poly blade thats literally florescent yellow. When used with a deep blue LED it turns florescent green. The reason behind this is because the blue LED gives off just enough UV properties to make this light up like it would with a black light. yellow+blue=green

+theredhoodedboss Yes they do. They have the thin walled blades (which are great for full contact dueling), and they also have thick walled blades. Which are used to duel against SF blades or other thick walled blades. Be sure whenever dueling to use the same style thickness of blade. thick vs thick or thin vs thin. This way the blades wont break!
