Using Vaicom Pros inbuilt Voice recognition training mode to train your keywords databas. You can't do enough of this to make your in game experience better with Vaicom Pro.
I'm tearing my hair out with this voice training. Voice Attack recognizes the spoken command phases, but only if I click on the headset icon to enable VA to listen - thus removing the red slash. But then it just acknowledges the spoken phase has been recognized and doesn't give me any percentage of accuracy. If I replicate what's being done in the video the Windows speech recognition is what displays whether a spoken phase has been recognised or not and not Voice Attack.

because when I got most of the pharse in 95% confidence, for example"Radar mode TWS" in the voice training, the voice attack eventually still recognize my word as "random mall" after all those training lol.
The term voice training seems somewhat ambiguous. When we follow this procedure, are we training Voice Attack/VAICOM how to interpret our voices OR are we learning how to pronounce the phrases in the list so that they are correctly interpreted? OR Both?
Probably both, but really you are training windows voice recognition to have an opportunity to learn the phrases VA is listening for. That’s why no PTT is required in this mode, Windows voice recognition is always listening when it’s turned on.
Pretty cool!!! Doing it now. My english is usually 80-90+ up. What are you doing with the Middle Eastern cities? They don't work well with my pronounciation.
@@anytimebaby917 one more question, by doing this training, do I train myself to pronounce the words making VAICOM understand me, or do I train VAICOM? For some reason VAICOM don't understand ATC, which I pronounce as spelling it as A - T - C. It sounds like it can't miss it, but it doesn't understand me, what can I do?
Great Video and straight forward. What mike are you using? I noticed the whole time that the headset icon on the right had a red slash. I gather you're using a desk microphone. I'm really having an issue with getting vaicom to recognize my voice. I've done the training at least 5 or 6 times and still a simple word like "ball" doesn't register and I'm in the USA with no accent. I really don't want to give up but this is the second time I've tried. Also, I notice just to the right of the + profile option your VA bar is blank. I did see an icon like a dialog box when you talk and at some point a Triangle. All I get is a red microphone icon that sometimes goes away and sometimes does. I'm supposed to be running version 1.8.7 but the manual and what I have don't jive. Any help would be more than greatly appreciated. Thank you and keep up the vids.
For the voice training you do not need to use a PTT thus the headset is crossed out, you will see that the Microsoft voice recognition is active the whole time. The headset is for the PTT function for when voiceattack is listening for the command, when you press your PTT it will not have the cross through it. The caution signs are for when commands aren’t recognised
