I'm running the AGM-65E Maverick practice mission which is included with the F-18 Hornet and the Persian Gulf map (so it's readily available for you to try out). My main focus was to demonstrate how Vaicom Pro works in DCS when working with a JTAC. The great thing with Vaicom Pro is that it all but removes the need to use the communications menu (the F1-F12 menu) while flying. This is particularly helpful for those in VR but can be of great assistance to the flat screen flyers as well.
I used a kneeboard which was created from the Vaicom Pro manual which provides some sample walkthrough commands while working with a JTAC. This is very helpful when first learning how to use Vaicom Pro to interact with the JTAC for the first few times as there are some particular command structure which are needed. Vaicom Pro is not some magical AI which can parse what you are saying and figure out what you want to do. Instead, it is looking for key phrases which are used within a particular context to be able to hand off the commands to the game engine in a meaningful way.
There's a lot to learn with Vaicom Pro and I would be happy to do more videos around it (I probably will). At the very least, I will be using Vaicom Pro in my other videos which I make around flying missions.
