Mike does distribute criticism to his Spartans when they deserve it, and whines about the Michigan fan base and the media the other 90% of the time. State earned every bit of that win Saturday. I heard the first few minutes of Mike's show today and all he did was bitch about the fans, call the entire Michigan fan base a cult, blah blah. Hey Mike, there was also a game on Saturday and your team earned every bit of the W. There are Michigan fans that are arrogant, deluded, and in denial about what Michigan is and has been for a decade and a half. And then there are realistic fans like me that just love their team and hope they win every game and are honest about what they are. Ignore the ignorant arrogant delusional Michigan fans. That's old hat. The constant whining about what they say and what the media says is just a tired old bit. About half the Spartan fans I know are just like Mike, the other half will gladly come up and shake your hand when the game's over (as I would to them). Tired old bit. This never gets old and Valenti flat-out nailed it! Funny when you look back at this 3 yrs later. I remember being kind of horrified in Sept 2015, (Harbaugh's first year), when I saw up on the scoreboard at Spartan stadium (vs CMU) that Harbaugh had just shut out BYU. Then he shut out 2 more teams (Maryland and NW). Didnt look good for MSU..BUT...looking at this now, Valenti's arguments still hold up. Screwbaugh has consistently choked in every big game he's been in. OSU just took UM to the Woodshed AGAIN for their 7th win against UM in a row!!
Let's just get this out now. Jim Harbaugh as a coach and as a player is, was overrated. He was suppose to win a Rose Bowl when he played at Michigan. Win a Super Bowl as a player and coach. He's had a few winning seasons as a coach and he's anointed as a great coach. Then he comes to Ann Arbor, Michigan to let his people go from those evil Spartans and Buckeyes. Everyone, in the Kingdom of ESPN, wants to believe that he's the reincarnation of another overrated coach. The one he played for in Ann Arbor, Michigan. He's going to part the waters of the college football world and not only take over the Big 10 but the college football world, like he didn't do at Stanford. Where are the National Championships at Michigan? At Standford? Where are the Super Bowl wins as a player and coach? Just like every where else he's coached, he's brought in on the shoulders of the faithful, then in a few years chased out of town by those same faithful, chasing him with a rail, tar and feathers. His inflated ego, with the help of the media (mostly ESPN), gets him run off every time. Now he's coaching an overrated program in Ann Arbor, living off it's over inflated past. Yes, the loss was as if God Himself came down and set the whole of the Michigan Wolverine world on it's head. A beautiful loss indeed, for the over hyped team of this football season. Well, deserved I say. Now they can all live in, "What if Land." ... and then there arose a coach in East Lansing, Michigan that knew not coach Bo neither did he consider him. And he smote his wrath mightily upon the team in a Ann Arbor and it's people whaled (whined) and mourned (blamed the refs) for even the might (overrated) Harbaugh (and ESPN) could not lift the hand of his wrath upon them. ... and it's the Aussie's fault.

No kidding. You were supposed to compete for a national title in 2007. You had been a legit program for a couple decades leading up to that season. Then Appy State happened and you never truly recovered from it. You probably never will.

Michigan fan here. This game still burns. However, yes most fans of both programs have their issues. Michigan fans are historians and MSU fans are cry babies. I respect MSU as a program but fans, stop crying about respect and play the game.
Michigan fans do plenty of crying. A prime example the 2016 game with Ohio St. That was a year and a half ago and I still hear Michigan fans crying and complaining about that loss.
