Valentine's cookie

For this Valentine ❤️ cookies we need :
2 cups of all-purpose flour
3 tbsp cornstarch
1 cup unsalted butter
3/4 cup powdered sugar
1 tes vanilla
A few drops of food coloring
METHOD
1. Whisk together flour, cornflour and salt. Set aside
2. Cream butter and sugar with the paddle attachment on
medium-high speed for 2 minutes
3. Add egg and vanilla and beat for another minute
The mixture may look curdled, this is normal
4. Scrape down the bowl and pour in dry ingredients. Mix
on low speed until combined. The dough can be colored
at this point
5. Pipe designs and place tray in freezer for 1 hour
Pre-heat oven to 375F (190C)
6. After an hour, bake cookies on the middle rack for 10
minutes, rotating the tray halfway through
NOTES
If your dough is too hard to pipe, your butter isn't
soft enough. The recipe calls for SOFTENED butter, not
room temperature. If your dough is too hard, heat it in
the microwave for a couple of seconds at a time.
