I hope everything goes well for you, this was a really touching message! I felt the same way about a lot of these songs especially with crawling and breaking the habit. It's definitely weird how things change over time. I first heard "Numb" in middle school and later heard "New Divide" at some point. Now I'm 22 and I've moved out and started my first career and it's A Lot Going On and these songs are GOOD but man, why they gotta do this to me??? Anyway. It's nice to have a little connection with a stranger out there for a moment. Music sure does bring people together.
