When you're doing the little stars on your ice cream cones there with your spackling the reason that they stick up so high is because you're not releasing the pressure before you let go of the of the let the pressure off the back

I love the crafts that use the stars made out of spackling because I used to decorate cakes a long time ago and made a million stars on the cakes. It was my favorite part.

Eric you are so right about uv light . It turns plastic yellow. I think if you add paint it will protect it from yellowing. You always can repaint the spackling . It’s on your walls and you paint it . Love ❤️your crafts ! Keep them coming! Thank you

Hi JoAnn and Erick!! You can spray Krylon Clear UV protectant on any crafts. I agree with Erick when arts and crafts are exposed to sunlight the color can change. I use Krylon clear spray all the time to protect my crafts or artwork over time. JoAnn I have a lot of the styrofoam that is like foam not the rougher one like dollar tree circles. I was wondering if you thought a cookie cutter would cut that or smash it. Erick might even know. Your ice cream cones came out MARVELOUS!! I love them!! I love the cupcake pick too!! I also wanted to shout out that Debbie Williams is making lots of cute stuff!! You have wonderful crafting friends in your FB group! Love ya sweet friend 💕

@@Photobombin I was curious if you had tried it. I have a lot of the softer foam but was thinking if I pushed down with a cookie cutter it may squish it. I can always just trace the cookie cutter and use a hot knife. Thank you Erick!!

I paid $9.98 and it was the only one they had left at my area Walmart and I never saw any more. The glitter stays on pretty good after the spackle dries.

I saw the post on the FB group and ran out to Hobby Lobby to buy cookie cutters. I have a small mallet I bought at the Dollar Tree and used that. Works great!

You can put the glitter in the small storage containers from the dollar tree they come 8 to a package two of the glitter packs fit in the small container.. they are small but they put away good small.. I picked up a few before Christmas so I would have them.. I love your videos you and Eric make me laugh...

Thank you for the tip about dipping your paint brush in water first. I painted a lot of foam stuff at Christmas time and used so much paint. I will definitely be trying this. Thank you. Love your channel and projects

Try using Dollar Tree’s piercing and scoring tools to pick up the sprinkles. You just stab them a little and it picks it up so you can place it where you want it. They work great with my clay sprinkles!
