6 things. 1. I COULD ONLY WISH TO SEE THEM IN PERSON. LIKE I WANT TO MEET THEM SOOOOOOO BAD! 2. The Scömìche moments in this song is too much. 3. KIRSTIE IS SUCH A CUTIE!!!!!!! 4. Avi, is so good in this song. Like I agree with Kevin, 'That ending tho!'. OH! And he kept looking to his left, like he was looking at the 4. 5. Kevin does his thing, it works. Like REALLY. 6. I couldn't imagine a world without them.
Hearing Pentatonix sing in such an intimate setting was amazing. This video doesn't even capture the sounds we really heard. Mitch's voice is so beautiful it almost sounded like tinkling bells. The harmonies they all create together are just perfect. They are also really really nice people! Thank you PTX for an unforgettable experience!
GurlAwesome yep, they've all got cute outfits (except Kevin, lol)... I liked Mitch's outfit... are horizontal stripes supposed to make you look fatter???? on Mitch it didn't work... lol
Dear people who think ptx use autotune: watch this video. Watch it again. Watch it again. Look at the mistake you made. Fix it. Dont make that mistake again.
+OhSoRandomable ok well. I am sure that they would autotune some parts of some songs in the official CD tracks, for example "where are ü know" or "Love again". especially kevins beat boxing couldve been enhanced. but what is so wrong to use autotune thou? I know for sure that they are incredible live. And I am sure that they don't use the "autotuned" version when singing live u know.
this was posted in 2015 and i’m still here listening to these angels :) everyone here is so perfect omg and the intricate sounds kevin makes are so impeccable i cant even
I know pentatonix always make me cry and i love this song a lot but this performance is too much for my heart , i went to another world , it was just so beautiful and soothing . And can i just say how lovely they all look especially Kirstie and Avi like damn!
RoseOfTheNight4444 they are all just really nice people. The important thing to remember is that they are regular people just like you and me and should be treated as such, especially if you want to have a conversation with them.
@@EliaKay1 Oh, of course! I wasn't implying that they were anything but human! I was just saying that Avi is a very angelic human being 😊 I always remind myself that he is as human as me. I'd love to meet him one day, that's a tall order but it's on my bucket list nonetheless. Don't think that'll happen for quite some time, if at all.
am i the only one who has a weird conspiracy about the fact that mitch and scott are the soloist in this love song? or am i just too deep in the scomiche hole? 😂
Omg I feel it too! Scott's lil smile when he and Mitch sing together, during that elaborate riff part, just melts my heart. That's real love, right there 😍😭❤️❤️❤️
everyday I ask my choir teacher to invite pentatonix to our school to teach all the choir kids how to beatbox and sing high and low and just say hi to whoever is their fans. (ME!!)
1. HOW DO YOU DO TIMING LIKE THIS WHAT EVEN HOW DO YOU COUNT THAT???? 2. At the end when Avi does a little different thing and Kevin goes like "oh! that's nice!"
Do you think I'll be able to meet them if i have VIP tickets for the Kelly tour? It's been a dream of mine since I was 11 to meet them (i.e. four years ago when they won Sing-Off) and I would be really happy if I was able to (*≧▽≦)
+TheYoshi3579 The Piece by Piece tour is almost over so i'm not sure if you can get VIP tickets or not. You can meet them with basic VIP tickets but only Private Performance comes with the song and selfies on your own camera.
It was part of the Private Performance VIP. They knew we were recording. They even sang happy birthday to someone and Scott said "let me know when the camera is ready." Also there are other VIP recordings on RU-vid.
I don't know for sure, but this version is slightly different than the one they usually sing. Avi takes the lead at the very end. This was opening night of their tour so it may have been the first time they performed it this way.
At the end avi sings a note that causes what's called a clashing chord. It's not a bad thing, some jazz songs and music im that's written in minor have these chords. Kevin was just reacting to the way that avi slid into the clashing chord and with one movement of a note changed the whole chord.
From what I can hear the trio (excluding Mitch) is singing a an Ab Maj7(9) chord at the the end without the Third and Fifth. Well Kevin thought it sounded cool that Avi ended on the G instead of the Ab which is what the above comment said a "clash chord". The Bb against Scott's Ab is already a clash but Avi throwing in a G just sounded cool. Sorta Jazzy sounding. Well the whole piece is made up of crazy chords but yeah haha Kevin basically thought it sounded cool and liked it. Hope that made sense :)
You can hear it a little better in the new documentary they just released. It's really fun to watch all the behind the scenes parts of being on tour. It's also neat to think my shared experience with PTX made it into the movie.
