Our first Valentino report! We go to see Pier Paolo Piccioli.
Sabato De Sarno, his former close associate, is in the front row. You can feel a breath of fresh air blowing through the house. The doors and windows are wide open. Pier Paolo Piccioli is refining his reds and pinks... and his whites too! White as porcelain, which you can stare at endlessly. There's denim in the collection, but with - inevitably - capes on top. You can't go wrong. We were lucky enough to slip backstage at the end of the show to catch the impressions of those close to Pier Paolo Piccioli.
