Awesome collection. Very organic and flowing. Mysterious and Feminine at same time. The purses leave something to be desired. Overall satisfying to the eye. Timeless and Feminine.
Always wait for these collections from Valentino black white mustard , cape styles thts something very comforting apart from tight hugged dresses, simple flower patterns on hoods is definitely giving an edge to the look . Seems spring is getting along with winter fashion very well Thanks Valentino , look forward to meet you soon Cheers Niharika
This collection looks like a cross between gateway cows and medieval nuns. When the reds started, it was like the costume department for The Handmaids Tale. The blues and greens should have been carrying tambourines and singing Hare Krishna. The next segment looked like a cat fight between burkas and muu muus. The flower prints at the end: when someone says “the flowers are bigger than the girls!” that is NOT supposed to be taken literally.

~ Not a bad collection, however I'm more accustomed to the Haute Couture of Valentino. These designs are typically outside of the box. Although, they'll sell simply to say it's "Valentino!".
Great way of giving everyone in the room a front row seat! Music a little monotonic. Does get the models moving at a reasonable pace (including the pulsing silences). What happened to mirth, joy and happiness? A well laid out room . Some interesting cuts and designs in a plethora of shades and colour tones.BLACK & WHITE here is almost immortal.
Certainly not in my world...but surely they are being purchased, adored, and worn. For example, I have read stories of women in the Middle East who spend lavishly to purchase these garments which are, according to the dictates of their religion, only ever worn within the confines of their private residences, and then, only in the company of their female friends or husbands. Haute Couture is an art form and is meant to showcase the artistry and imagination of the designer...like the paintings and sculptures of great artists, few can afford to purchase it...but many can enjoy it and appreciate it. For me, to behold a beautifully designed and inspiring collection is like a trip to a museum...I can only admire it from afar...but what joy it brings into my life. And how lovely is it that we get to comment on what we see...beauty is, afterall, in the eye of the beholder....it is intensely personal and a right we must all cherish. Keep watching my friend...keep commenting my friend. Looking forward to more of your commentary!!! As an aside, I design window displays using clothes that I purchase from my local thrift store and each window is generally inspired by a particular collection that I have seen. I love the challenge of the hunt for the right garments and I love the final expression of that inspiration...but most of all, I love showing people that they can create these looks themselves...it takes a little time and...a little effort...sorting through the racks...but not a whole lot of cash. And the results can be amazing....
Wow..I guess I'm more use to Valentino being more lux and femine..this was very "little red riding hood" meets " to flowy and shapeless". First Valentino where I not wanting any of it. I not looking for avant-garde in a Valentino..disappointing!
Dreadful collection!!! How I miss Valentino, St. Laurent, Versace, Givenchy, Montana, and a few others. THEY were designers. No gimmicks, no nonsense, just sheer genius. Everything about this show was wrong. Especially the school art project scallop edges on many of the pieces. Very disappointing!
