Applause to the video editor for managing to cut out all of the shoe disasters of this show. Real OH&S nightmare for the models walking this show.

Most of the looks were very nice and practical. Though I watched another video with different camera angles for this show and some of the models were in a lot of discomfort. Some of the models took their shoes off or were falling and tripping over themselves. One model actually leaned over to an audience member for help due to her shoes. A couple of them actually fell down the stairs. There was also a lot of confusion about where to turn and walk so some of the models were going down the wrong aisle or doing a couple 360s before they found their way. In reality, this video makes everything look together but this show was actually a mess. I wouldn’t be surprised if some of the models had injuries. Mind you, these models are trained to walk in difficult shoes and wear difficult garments so if they are having a difficult time, the design is to blame. And I say the designers to blame because it wasn’t just one mishap with one model, it was almost half of the fleet that either fell or took their shoes off or were struggling horribly throughout the entire show. I feel that Valentino did the models very dirty and shows style over functionality. And I know that shows like this aren’t always about functionality but if you have almost all of the model struggling to walk and falling and tripping then you need to reevaluate your design.

Some women look very uncomfortable walking I don't know why designers dress them in such uncomfortable clothes and shoes Fashion can be both comfortable and beautiful

i love how they edited out all the issues with the shoes, this show was actually a trainwreck

nothing says "recession is coming" better than muted tones, safe silhouettes, "investment" sequin pieces and logomania for a SS collection.

The clothes in this collection were absolutely stunning that being said this fashion show flopped, the shoes caused so many problems here…

Just because little here was to my taste doesn’t mean there was anything wrong! I intensely disliked most of the colours. However, the shoe designer should be forced to walk home in a pair of them: what the *fluff*..?!! Model after model with her spindly little ankles nearly snapping because the needle thin, high heels were just giving way. Horrible to watch; dangerous to work in - could cause long term injury. That’s not fashion, that’s stupidity and someone should have prevented it before those girls had to risk the runway.

Is it my imagination or do some of the models look like they are struggling and others just pissed off?

The last dress (black) was exquisite and the model knew exactly how to show it; she was absolutely lovely.

The last black dress and Valentino print dresses were spectacular as well as the nude feathered garments.

Clothes are beautiful but like several comments here have to comment on the way some models walk, or don’t as the case may be. I’m sure some think it’s very cool to look so natural but infact it’s very distracting. It’s a pleasure to watch a beautiful model in beautiful clothes, walking beautifully.

This collection will definitely sell. Shoes aside, the clothing is definitely marketable and accessible.

Timeless collection. No trend fuckery. (Except the monograms) All pieces will be beautiful forever.

Saw on another youtube video and on tiktok that the models were really struggling to walk on the runway :( Some even fell down some steps and alot of them took off their shoes mid-runway. You could really see the pain on some of the models faces. Hope they're OK

Collection had all of the elements that make one exceptional.The heavily logoed show opener…amazing in every way. This show was a 👏🏼👏🏼real pleasure to see, one of my favorites!Ran the gambit of elegant,edgy, artful and just plain beautiful.

With few exceptions, Paris Spring/ Summer 2023 has been a disappointment so far, and with a day left, I am not sure it’s going to get anymore inspiring. Thanks goodness for Valentino for being one of the few bright spots in a rather dismal fashion season. Pierpaolo continues to present elegance, sophistication, and some really dreamy looks on the runway. That last look-that gorgeous model-wow!-alone saved Paris Spring Summer 2023 fashion week. Thank goodness! When I think of Paris fashion, I think of the stuff of dreams, not mom jeans and expensive sweatpants on the runway. I also love the pops of Pepto-Bismol pink in his audience. Fashionistas are still rocking last season’s Valentino.

At times it was challenging to focus on the clothes when the models seemed too thin, too weak to walk. Several models seemed to struggle walking. I hope that all of the models are healthy!!

I've rarely seen such unhappy looking models. That's without even mentioning the chaos and injuries that have been caused by the shoes being ill-fitted/badly designed. It's hard to be aesthetic when you're in pain.
