I was literally crying by the end of the show from the amount of emotions they were able to convey through showcasing so much beauty and real elegance. No insta models, no Kardashians, just a real master showing the world what true class is, which we might have long forgotten. The devil wears Prada but the angels wear Valentino couture.

This is the first time I've ever seen a designer acknowledge his staff during a runway show, the people who actually make the clothing. Of course the collection is gorgeous, maybe the best for Pier Paolo.
probably one of the best collection for this season together with Schiaparelli’s!!! but this is by far the most beautiful runway output ever to be documented, from the venue, to the clothes, the mood of the scene, the amazing live vocal performance by Labrinth to the ending where the real heroes of fashion, the artisans behind the clothes, are given the spotlight.
The “runway” is Scalinata di Spagna in Rome, a very treacherous staircase which I walk daily, and the models are seen walking into Valentino’s Palazzo. It is indeed absolutely beautiful, and only Rome could produce such a beautiful setting. Valentino Garavani, being the most recognizable designer in and from Rome, has done the city an honour by having this stunning show at The Spanish Steps, rather than in Paris. BRAVO to Pierpaolo Piccioli for staying true to the Maestro with this collection!
This is art. Everything is connected. Lyrics, music, place, clothes, world... It's not just a show this a future. Thank you Valentino for this pleasure.
By bringing on the tailors and walking them through the audience, that was the ultimate respect for them,....and also refreshing to see a designer do....and more should do the same!.
Valentino takes so serious the haute couture atelier, this is what couture is, not cans and platform shoes and dresses half finished, for me Valentino saved all the fall 2022.

This is where I discovered Labrinth for the first time. Lost in Rome, in the middle of July, I stumbled across this beautiful fashion show by Valentino taking place on the Spanish Steps. That night I went back to the hotel and listened to every Labrinth song with my closest friend! ❤️
First time I listened Labrinth he wasn’t so known as now… was like 3 years ago, from the Magnificent Spectacular Serie “Euphoria”, the 1st Season … immediately I listened his voice, I felt in Love ❤!!! His voice, the melody 🎵 🎼 🎶 the lyrics, the arrangements, “special effects”😊 … it’s that kind of music that is different than usual,..I felt Magic 🪄I felt good … I quickly made a playlist and listened to it for months! I thought I was like the unique listen Labrinth… was so underrated back in that time I was really surprised how could be possible?! Well since last year (I guess) he’s everywhere in what is Fashion… in videoclips, reels, stories, publicity, soundtracks.. exactly where he deserves!! He’s one of the Bests in this generation ❤.
Now THAT’S a fashion show! The beauty of the fashions, the music, the venue, topped off by the grand finish, acknowledging the staff and another look at the fashions! The BEST! Brought tears to my eyes!

This was the most beautiful fashion show I’ve ever seen from the clothing down to the music down to the wind so effortlessly blowing on the model dresses. Now this is what I call fashion. I literally cried at the end because I was fascinated with all the beauty.

what a spectacular show! first of all, thank you so much valentino for inviting hwasa and treating her so well during her time in rome! it was so great to see her here. second of all, the vibes in this show were immaculate. the music, the scenery and the clothes were all STUNNING!!! it was also so cool to see all of the seamsters and seamstresses walk in the end. such an amazing show and congrats to everyone who worked so hard on this collection !

This was ASMR to me; the tingles and chills. These intricate pieces of wearable art and the music 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾And when Labrinth lit into “First Time Ever I Saw Your Face” the show entered the realm of the sublime 🙌🏾. Bravo to every single designer, seamstress, errand girl/boy, artist, model who put together this thing of beauty. This is how fashion shows should be done always. Amazing.

Valentino riesce a riportare in ogni sua sfilata il mondo in Italia, e questa volta il mondo e tornato a Roma; dove tutto è iniziato e dove forse tutto finisce. Trovo tutto questo di una poeticità unica, in una eterea leggerezza che rende in mondo di Valentino immortale. Guardando la diretta mi è sembrato che fossimo arrivati ai titoli di coda; come se il cerchio si stesse chiudendo, consapevoli (forse) che questo tipo di alta moda sia stato elevato così in alto da essere quasi tutti consapevoli di non poter raggiungere livelli di perfezione più alta. Valentino always makes me cry. I am so thankful for being able to see again, a glimpse of my teenage years during this fashion show. I grew up watching Donna Sotto Le Stelle, every year back in the 90s. And I can't stop feeling emotional about this. I dreamt as a teen girl to walk down these stairs in a wonderful dress someday. It didn't happen, but seing this feels almost enough. Thank you. 💜

Absolutely stunning!!! the music, the design, the colour blocking, the camera work... emotional and stunning! The best is the end when the technicians and tailors are treated as the precious commodity they are and praised by closing the show!!! bravo
Beginning when the first model walked out to the very end. Every piece, every model, from the architect, the poet at the beginning, to the music brought everything home. Especially when all the people behind these beautiful creations walked the runway. Tear! I want to walk for Valentino. I want to wear Valentino. So inspiring!

Everything is stunning, beyond magical. What beautiful designs, and so many! What a beautiful emotional show and performance by that singer. He brought the show to life. Brought a tear to my eyes. So intimate and personal the way he was singing and the in combination with those beautiful decadent haute couture designs. Valentino brings back the luxury, glamour and decadence that a lot of other brands are missing right now.
Never saw this show but I am so impressed by the style, the colours, the rhythm, the symphony of materials and the music. Thank you to Valentino and his team, they really win.
Now THIS is real fashion and THIS is real Soul music. What lovely show but what captivated me was the singing. I don't know who he is but he ATE the while show. The watery eyes for me is the seamstress that walked about with the designer. They are the real stars of the show with the hard and impeccable work they do behind the scenes and never get applauded. My UTMOST RESPECT for that gesture alone. I say thinks you to the photographers, photo retouchers, the lighting crew, the seamstresses, and the people who cleaned up after everyone was gone. I love and thank you all for your hard work that no one sees but I APPREICIATE!

This show was heavenly in every way. The stunning clothing, fabrics and colors from head to toe; the models of many ethnicities, skin tones and sizes; the historic location and scenery; the singer with his beautiful voice, the passionate lyrics and ethereal background music; and the super talented designer walking with all the staff that made those gorgeous clothes. It was a joy to witness their happiness. You could feel the love everywhere. I would have loved to have been there to experience it. It was magic! 😍🥰❤👏

This collection was stunning. But the music was the perfect choice. Idk who this artist is but I love the moody haunting tone of his vocals. The backdrop I mean everything together was breathtaking! I love what he did at the end. Designed would be nothing without the seamstresses who make their visions come to life. I hope more designers in the future do this. That was the ultimate form of respect and appreciation for the endless work it takes.
The only thing missing from this joyful collection and joyous presentation were expressions of joy on the models' faces. I'm certain that backstage they were geeked to be participating in this show, but somehow they were told to turn that excitement off completely once they faced the cameras. Piccioli's own energy is so positive; I wish that he would allow that same energy to be expressed by his models. Some smiles would have taken this show from a 10/10 to a 15!
