ACL hit a home run by taking a chance on this young woman. This show is in the same class as the Jack White and Nick Cave productions as being hugely original, artistic and entertaining. Hats off to Valerie for not following the boring herd. Hats off to ACL for not following the boring herd.
Wife and I were outside the Greek Theater in L.A. few nights ago talking to a young couple. Waiting for Norah Jones. I was in a place where I could see a big screen camera shot of the stage and up steps this young lady and starts singing. Wow from the git-go. Stopped being polite at the third song, stopped the conversation, got my wife inside, sat down, and was in awe. What a unique talent. Hope she comes back our way soon. Love her.
