Join Germain and I on the backcountry camping adventure of the summer to Valhalla! During the two nights we camped at the base of the iconic face of Gimli, woke up surrounded by mountain goats, and the second night in Mulvey Basin next to beautiful glacial lakes.
The peaks we scrambled up were Gimli (2806m) and Asgard (2825m), both via the east ridges/ledges.

just found your channel and love it! what time of year did you go here? I’ve been fortunate enough to pass near some of these locations many times over the years driving to and from work, but definitely need to make an effort to get to some of them

An entertaining production! Well done lads. My friend & i ascended Gimli on the same route :) (August Long of the same year 2016) On day two we ventured to the South ridge to look (again) upon the lakes. Time did not permit to descend though :'( P.S.:loved ❤ the stop motion portions!!

Is gimli peak doable without much experience in scrambling or it experience really needed?

Prior experience sure helps a lot, there are some spots with exposure on Gimli

Great Vid and views but not at all impressed by being ill prepared via your Vehicle When driving back road s also have quality tires, tools Xtra fuel, a good spare , prepare for the worst. I also have learned this lesson over the years and no have a vehicle that handles back roads,Use this as a learning experience , With respect and I thank you you vids are much appreciated
