"There's nothing I wouldn't do to save this world.
No depth I won't explore.
No secret I won't unlock.
No barrier I won't cross.
This mission is mine alone.
If I falter, if I fail...
there won't be anyone left to stop what's coming.
But whatever comes...
I will be ready." -Aloy

Player damage: 70%
Enemy damage: 200%
Enemy speed & size: 120%
9 months of mage and Queen theory at work here. Bilebombs are the secret mvp of this run, massive value. Hardest part of the challenge is taking mental notes all the time. Example, knowing that this certain queen just used her spew attack and therefore won't use it again in a little bit. The entire 5 Queen battle is a struggle for positioning, if the player can get good positioning and angles, the fight becomes MUCH easier, but good positioning takes so much instinct, awareness, and control of the situation. I struggled a bit with awareness with 5 Queens as, 5 is greater than 4 or 3, and dealing with the extra seekers makes it even tougher, especially on very hard, when seekers on very hard are comparable to 1 star seekers on normal. Previously on these multi queen challenges, I've largely been able to avoid seekers because they're relatively trivial and more annoying than anything. Also dpsing seekers down means a longer kill time which translates to the boss regening more hp (All enemies regen 1.67% hp a minute, and the Queen has 12,500 hp which translates to 208.75hp/min, which really adds up). Control of the battle is massive, the encounter can quickly escalate in a matter of seconds and you can be dead in less than a second. Little bonus meme, you can place Finewood stacks in dungeons, and you can place wisplights on top of those, while it may be costly, it's 100% worth it if you're doing a challenge or struggle with the Queen a little bit. No shame in using every tool Valheim provides to complete a task. The game literally enforces this idea, preparation, knowledge, and awareness is how you stay alive in Valheim.
All skills used were at 100.
I was about 8 hours into the challenge and just wanted to make sure 5 queen was actually doable, so I went ahead and did it on normal mode. • 5 queen normal I quickly realized that 90% of the time I was dying to seeker pressure, whether it was seeker brood popping bubble leading to a death, seeker pop leading to a seeker attack or queen attack. I had to bite the bullet and focus down seekers, at the cost of time and efficiency, but everything to stay alive I guess. I challenge anyone to do 5 queen solo on very hard and ignore seekers. There probably will be a day when I come back to this challenge and absolutely obliterate this time and kill, but until then, this is the best.
I was doing some retrospective about my Valheim skill a few days ago, and realized that I did 5 queen solo on normal mode FASTER than I did 4queen, or 3queen, which is absolutely absurd. Player skill in Valheim can increase so much in Valheim, and I cannot wait for the Ashlands!
