Yes. Instead of snapping the verticals to the bottom of the ocean, snap them to the horizontals. If that is proving to be difficult, run another horizontal line of core wood posts where the floor is going to be. (I do this regardless as it provides a nice base for the flooring. That way, you are snapping each vertical to two parallel beams. THEN raise the bottom under whichever vertical is green, until it turns blue. You will have all your verticals at the same level.
