Another Build using the stone basement idea, this time I decided to make a space under the house that could be used for crafting benches, I hope you enjoy the build as always, Im also trying to improve the order I do things in to make it easier to build along, thats why I focused on fully completing one wall section before moving onto the next in this video, tell me what you think and if its helpful. and thanks for watching as always.

Great idea and use of space, will implement in my house in Valheim from now on.

I would love to know whether you use any planning other than in-game/creative to determine your layouts. In other games I have used paint, or even excel, to plan my build's floorplan and minimum required dimensions/space requirements before I took to it in-game. What helps you land on designs? I also have to commend how CLEAN and SIMPLE your guides are, shows lots of understanding and forethought. Makes me envious in the best way possible. Love it!

@@bevansp1 Normally I start with something iv seen or thought of, and just end up making it or drawing it if im not able to play, usually I don't start recording, instead I make the build once, figure out exactly how I want it to look, I then make a recording and take a few screenshots then I recreate it. as for the cleaness of the guide, thats just something Iv worked on over time, at first my guides on building where very messy, I jumped around a lot building different parts but now I try and focus on one element at a time, finishing an entire wall before moving on to the next one rather than building up layer by layer. which only really became a thing I did after some time making building guides.

I love these builds for the simplicity in how they are presented... and every time I see a new upload, I get excited because the music played during the building process takes me back to the days of playing The Settlers: Heritage of Kings, the game the music primarily comes from. Please don't stop making these videos if you can, these are wonderful to watch.

Just wanted to say thank you for showing off all these buildings. My friends and I are using a bunch of your guides to make a dope village, and without these tutorials it would've sucked lol

@@ZerosterGuides It would be awesome if you eventually made a church/temple tutorial if possible. Hoping for more videos in the future!

This was a very enjoyable build that was easy to follow. A lot of pausing and backing up as I built it along with you and then re-playing from halfway as a troll attack tried to beat it to a pulp. (walls around the base first is the lesson here LOL). Thanks!

I am loving these minimalistic builds. I have a tendency to build giant houses to fit everything and then I need a giant base wall to protect my giant house, hehe. Does this work without the marble, or the structural integrity fail further up?
@ZerosterGuides
@ZerosterGuides 7 месяцев назад
It works without the marble, the marble is just used so that stone doesn't clip through the wood flooring, because the marble is smoother. but the wood building on top gets the same structural integrity from either one.

Excuse me my good sir! How do you toggle your snapping points?
@ZerosterGuides

I think the default key is "E" just select the build piece you wanna use and keep pressing it til it snaps in the way you want.
