This is the best portal hub video by far. Form and function. I copied it but added another row on top with stone stairs leading up on either end. Thanks for the idea!
My son and I are playing Valheim and built this yesterday. I trimmed out the top in core wood, but this is a beautiful creation. Great video too. You explain everything perfectly and it was super easy to build... besides the massive amount of grinding for resources.. LOL Thanks again.
@@TastyChickenLegs Glad you had a great time building it. Another cool thing you can do is to add the decorative dark wood walls to the rear between the gaps in the stone and line them with core wood too. I also put green iron burners in them to add some atmosphere. Will show this in the tutorial for the full circle stone hub that I am working on.
It's a really nice idea, but you can use 1 portal in your base and rename it were you want to go, its more time saving than going to the hub and then to another portal in case you haven't a place near your base to build all this structure
i get the point, but for me it's not about "saving time". but if you want a nice looking portal hub and you are lacking place to build near your base, you can just build this at a place it fits and then place one portal in your base connected to your portal hub. at least that's what i did
That would be the safest place for it to be honest. I made a full circle version of this hub and it looks even better. I left a space to add gates etc. Hopefully next week I will add a small update video showing what it looks like.
