We share our initial thoughts on Valiant Lady on our first-ever Virgin Voyages sailing after the first 24 hours. There was lots of discovering happening over the first 24 hours from the embarkation experience to all of the different food offerings. We took TONS of pictures and videos before we even boarded, all the way through the dining venues we visited and shows we watched. It sounds like there may be options in the future for that! We're definitely keeping a close watch on the 4 "Lady" ships and would love to see a West Coast option since it's much closer to us, too!

Wow! I’m so glad you had a great time! It made my day to watch this vid as I’m sitting in the airport after just gotten off the Venezia this am. Rocky, you are an experienced VV now! The colour grey is used specifically because all other colours appear more intense next to it. The lighting effects on the ship rely on grey background. It also gives a ‘wow’ effect when entering a venue where you transition from grey to bright decor. Clever.

Thanks for that insight. When we first entered the hallways, we were a little disappointed as the lighting was white, but throughout the cruise, we noticed that the colors changed, especially for Scarlet Night. It was a really cool effect!

Part of the reason why they don’t print is due to people bidding on rooms that’s one aspect and addition your room # can change.

Did your DBE show on your booking before cruise ? I have status matched but they not showing . When I arrive at port do you think I will be automatically on list ? Is that what happened to you ? Thanks for info

As long as you received a confirmation email from Virgin Voyages that they've matched your status on your reservation, then you should be good to go. I would also recommend that you bring a copy of that confirmation email (electronic would be fine) to show to Sailor Services if the "bouncer" at the Sailing Club line can't find your name on the list.
