To make a long story short, whenever I target an enemy with a flamethrower "To Kill" equals the enemy's current HP... Tried reinstalling the game (only keeping the "savedata" folder) but it's still happening >.
People below say that it is difficult, dangerous, et cetera to do what he did. I actually figure out the entire thing myself, and finish the chapter within 15 minutes. The way he does is more dangerous. However, what he could have done is to have Alicia capture the second enemy flag, and then retreat Alicia in the first round. With around 1 or 2 steps left in the first round, I asked Alicia to be recalled again in the second round. With this, the enemy does not even have the chance to attack Alicia during the enemy phase in the first round (as she has been retreated). Afterwards, just capture the flag like what he did. Actually, I think the game is much easier doing the A-rank thing than to play it normally.
I know this is a six year old video, as well as your others, but as someone who struggles as a kid to even make it this far, I really appreciate these. You’ve helped me develop so many good strategies. I can’t pull off a lot of the crazy stuff you do, but pretty close. Thanks again. I also never knew how much of a crazy badass Alicia (and Rosie too) are!
Played this game with a high school ex some 15 years ago; I got stuck on the Batomys mission and never was able to finish it - until a few days ago. Was watching FMA and it reminded me of this game, now I’m playing through with my wife cheering me on!
For those who don't have the Healing Request order, commit 2 CP on a smoke roll for the 1st twin machine gun is a pretty good idea. It gonna save you a good chunk of hp. Actually my Alicia made it to the 1st camp with almost 300 hp intact xD also, maybe an atk boost order is needed as well just in case you miss some of the headshots
Using Awakening potential made this a bit simpler, and since I didn't have your weapon i had to use a weaker imp gun with the attack command, but otherwise fun strat. Scout blitz strats are busted in this game

I've been playing the main game for a bit and it isn't exactly like VC1 since the maps are now divided into multiple lanes making you have to rely on multiple units as well the new AI got somewhat smarter which it now relies on grenadiers there is more about the game but I don't want to spoil it
Even though VC4 does a better job at encouraging the use of multiple units, the maps are still susceptible to a good ol’ Scout rush. In the last, non-DLC expert skirmish, I had the APC carry Minerva past the first two snow-walls, then dropped her off and had her capture the final base - all in one turn. Since the western grenadier was attacking her, I had Minerva stand right next to the last snow-wall, which opened after the grenadier pulverized it. lmao
Scout blitz strats too strong. I'm doing this mission tomorrow. Probably going for 4 turns since I'm still on my first playthrough. Did the last one in three turns with muh boy Ted and obligatory Alicia.
+Karan Trivedi it didn't always activate. In fact it didn't at all for me on the first attempts. I ended up just sneaking up behind him with Aika and taking him out.
New game plus? Pretty sure she doesn't get resist crossfire until after her Valkyria blood awakens. Also a pretty high level gun you got there so yeah, don't think this is possible on a 1st run. Coulda used up 3 CP to just mortar strike that last camp as well :D
Firstly, No this is new game not new game plus. Resist is unlocked through class levels AFAIK. Secondly, Yeah DLC gun but it's not required so no v2 video without it. Lastly, Are you suggesting we do anything that would make scouts appears less OP? Madness.
While ZM Kar 8 is great, it’s easy to obtain on a first run. All you have to do is complete the Scout Trial. Also, Resist Crossfire is unlocked after Scouts reach level 17. *Correction - unlocked at 14* Grinding is easy if you abuse the Scout Trial.
@@zekdom yo am i tripping in that case? my scouts are only lvl 14 atm and aika and alicia both proced their resist crossfire in the last mission. is that a bug or am i missing something?
Nah, I didn't have it and just used her healing item instead of the request. I jammed the trigger so I got hit with no fire beforehand. Same CP spent, and if you are quick, you can even move a bit while taking minimal damage.
