@@Kyorisujust getting through my first full play through of this game and I found that out like 4 retries into killing selveria for shits and giggles I fired the tank at her and it hurt her enough to where I said fuck it reloaded the game made sure my accuracy was maxed with welkin and killed her in turn 1🤣😂🤣
I don't like using these strategies since most of them are really absurd, but I'm kinda of stuck in this mission. I think I will have to do this. This game is amazing but at the same time burnout me very easily.
I got an A rank without this strategy: first capture all camps, take out the tanks guarding these camps with scouts using (g) rifles. For Jaeger, use a lancer with ultimate demolition boost potential, Audrey for example
+IDIOT A ranking with Aces was a niche I thought needed to be filled so I did so. I still have a PS3 copy from many years ago but had no means to capture footage from it.
Thx for the guide, ive been checking your Valkyria videos and using your strategies, they are very useful,a very aggressive gameplay but that's the idea. Thanks again.
Thanks for the upload. Even though I could aim at the tank directly without destroying its armor first for whatever reason. But, using the Ruhm had a significant advantage. Thank God lol
That's a quality parmigiano reggiano overe there! I was trying to chese this mission in my playthrough but I did't expect all that armor and lost. And now I know that you can penetrate it with Penetration Order. Neat! Thank you! Also, why don't just run to the back of the tank and destroy it's engine after destruction of the armor?
I used Awaken potential on Alicia every turn which made her heal, undodgable shots and sometimes double movement. Could take every base and tank single handed, then summon lancers for the end. Could still only get a B rank. Using smoke is clever, will work on the strategy.
I'm so ashamed of using this method, it's so cheesy XD But this mission is just so hard, I've never been able to do it, even when I played it on the PS3 (playing remastered now). Thanks for this :)
Spend six hours on this mission, after my 400th attempt I captured all 4 bases ready to focus on Jaeger, just had to wait for my turn, then Jaeger destroys my Edelweiss in his turn, never touched the game again until today (I also just got the remaster lol). So, I don't blame you.
I finally knocked off this mission last night. I deployed 8 Lancers! Ran all of them to the roof of the building that you start near to and saved my cp for two turns I think. Then with a full 20 I used awaken potential and pounded on Jaeger for one full turn. That was probably my 10th attempt including quits to learn what he does
Well, 2 years later on a replay (fresh new game) I cleared this mission the normal way first try (capturing all bases, killing all enemies etc.) The things that can happen when you actually bother to learn how to play the game lol :P Did all of the Hard Skirmishes without assistance as well, working on the Platinum and the rest of the Expert skirmishes.
I've played up to this mission mostly without using orders, aside from an occasional anti-tank damage buff, usually on Largo. I thought that using them was usually a waste of CP, as I could usually insta-kill most things I encountered. This. This changes things. *Manically grins while my glasses flash, obscuring my eyes from view*
Dude I know this is a year old but my God that was honestly just bad never type something like that again and if you were joking than sorry but still never type out anime actions, it's worse than roleplayers in comment sections because at least other people join in sometimes.
@@cosmos1282 OK Mr. Fun Police officer, no fun here, got it. In all seriousness, buzz off. You really necroed a year old comment just to be a prick, and that is probably indicative of your own personality. You must be a real hit at parties with that attitude.
crazy amount of luck on that Alicia turn LOL but mostly irrelevant since (for once) she's not actually critical to winning here and just needs to kill the ace. Sick plan for taking down Jaeger though, damn. Honestly I kinda hate Orders - Valkyria is such a great game, but Orders (along with Alicia being so damned OP) allow you to cheese all the missions waaaaaay too easily. Haven't had the chance to play any of the sequels, so no idea if they ever fixed that problem.
Ah. I've been playing the remaster lately (lol I've had the game since it came out but just got around to it. Also own the original PS3 version) so that's why I've been hitting up the vids. Just a little advice incase anyone else is interested, I noticed you used attack boost - it specifically says in the tool tip it only affects damage vs people. Damage/Demolition Boost are much more effective; I did the same thing as you but Rosie killed it about 2 turns sooner with Demolition active (she *just* missed killing it on 1 of her attack rounds so I had to blow 1 extra turn lol.)
Yeah that's an error on my part but CP isn't a problem so never got around to redoing it. According to some guy Damage Boost gives +50 vsArmor for 2 CPs. Demolition Boost gives +100 vsArmor for 3 CPs. Penetration ignores enemy defense for 2 CPs. Not sure how stacking works on this either.
Unfortunately luck is the essence of this approach. It takes a lot of reloads to achieve similar effects, which means the longer but safer strategy may be much faster to execute.
Dunno if you know, but if you line up two or more enemies when firing, your bullets will surely hit the ones behind after the targeted one falls (or ducks), this way you can kill several enemies in one movement (with a powerful rifle, or a Double shot skilled unit).
Doesn't Appear to be doable via this exact method on method on switch version as smoke bombs dissapte the moment he fire's his smoke bomb near to you, unless I'm missing something 🤔
The easiest way I found is by repeating Skirmish 7 all over again: it can be cleared in just one turn, with a couple of moves by Alicia and gives ~50k XP per victory.
