Turns for A Rank: 5
The regular way to do this would be to use a rifle grenade and then take one guy out with the first scout. Your second scout kills the other guy and caps the flag. Increased damage from 60fps makes running across that open section between the trenches a real PITA.
Experiment and see what works best for you. If you can cap the flag on turn 1 and have 3CP spare you're golden.
Call in a Lancer to deal with the flag past the closed gate. (Same path I took with Alicia)
Your tanks aren't in any real danger first turn if you destroy the bunker otherwise smoke if you're taking more turns as Selvaria will instagib your tanks.

I give this video thumbs down because if you're just using like new game plus weapons. That doesn't help anyone who's playing the game for the first time.

I was definitely a bit lazy with my descriptions for VC1 but the newer version is listed. That said nothing I'm using here is a new game weapon. Everything is acquirable in a first playthrough. I preferred waiting until the second turn before I took out that base that summons Selvaria. Only had to use the Edelweiss once to mortar the Ace that way. I also found it a bit more straightforward to bring Rosie up there and flamethrower the Troopers, instead of grenading with a second scout. Just little tips in case someone finds it useful!

budi agung You get the Ruhm from beating Behind Her Blue Flame. This is available from the main menu and all PC copies have it. On console it is a paid DLC.

Not saying these videos aren't helpful. They are. But Rosie first turn, that scout dodged 3 times, I mean what's the guide worth when the game is kind of down to chance.

Good to hear. You do get the odd run in with RNG not playing ball. I tend to quit and go do something else then come back to it. Of course you can still A rank without being focused on being close to 100% optimal but I like having that flag in one turn.

You can get it from the scout trial mission (Skirmishes Tab then flip the page over). I've been meaning to redo this mission with the tools you'd have at this point in the game.
