Valkyria Chronicles - Chapter 7 (4 Turns) 

Before watching this video: Beating this chapter, with 4 turns? Obviously this is a hack. After Watching this video: Why didn't I think of that?

i hate this mission so much. i waste so much time accidentally blocking the Boss with my tank. i was like "wtf do i do, its frekin indestructable" i just keep repairin the hell out of my tank while taking out all of its turret lol

Sweet job! Largo after the battle: "I want a raise"

This was a very interesting strategy. Every time Largo did the ladder climb I started laughing after a while, especially when you started the rotation effect. I think after this mission Largo must have gotten a good exercise for his legs. As for Rosie in your party even if the Desert allergy kicks in it is not that major for a mission (it is more worth to have the CP than to exclude her, it could save or fail your mission depending on your strategy).

fml I upgraded my lance to lv 3 T_T ugh I absolutely hate this mission, such bullshit, the valkyria girl just one shots every soldier you have -__-

Incredible. I beat it the long painful way, destroying every turret, killing every enemy but the blue woman, and killing it on my final CP. This mission sucked, gladly I didn't lose any character.

Eureka! i finally found a way to replicate this! i was doing a new game+ and as i encounter this mission again, i tried to replicate this method with my weapon arsenal, which is all fully upgraded. the basic is the same, use the mortar on tank to finish those 3 consecutively. So, here goes! what you need: 1. a shocktrooper with T-mag20(35 shot) + No "double action" potential(it can overkill) + "penetration" order (i'm not sure if level will affect things but mine is lvl20) 2. Any Lancer(ultimate anti armor helps). This unit will be the finisher 3. Tank with Demolition Boost Procedure: 1.Follow the video procedure until the point where the tank is on the top hill and the radiator is open to hit 2. Replace the Lancer in the video with the T-Mag20 Shocktrooper. order "Penetration" and shoot each radiator. this will drop their HP to 190. 3. place the shocktrooper beside the Finisher Lancer, he is still needed. 4. "Demolition Boost" order Elderweiss and shot the mortar(to the center, just like in the video). this will deal 100hp dmg each. do this 2 times 5. Voila! all three are destoryed together! Extra: remember the shocktrooper? let the finisher attack the Bartomys with the Shocktrooper beside him/her for supporting fire. the "Penetration" is still in order and that will be enough to finish off the bartomys in 1 CP! Great Success~

Vyse died in this operation for me.. This mission is terrifyingly difficult.

Thanks for this. I always hated this mission but was able to pull this off. Had to abuse saves on PS4 since some things went wrong while learning this method but it makes this battle much easier.

just a note, you can throw a grenade into the radiators for a one hit kill on it

I love this game but it is so frustrating because they hardly give you any relevant info before the battle so you have very little practical data to use. Getting A rank is so difficult the first time because you don't know exactly what you're facing before having to commit troops. Most of the time I ended up with the wrong ones in the wrong place at it took me extra turns to work my way out of the hole.

10:57 Largo introduces himself to a tank

Couldn't do this strategy had m3. The way I found was to have lancers, engineer, scout and sniper. Use the scout to get the one shock trooper on his own and move to cover same turn. Then snipe the others with aim boost. Use the tank and lancers purely for destroying turrets until the first wall. By then you should have none or just the back turret left, possibly the front too. At the first wall destroy the left radiator and then get all your lancers on the right side of the tank and keep them there. Now skip the next wall you can knock down and instead do the two on the straight that goes up hill. Once you get to them have all your units on the right side and have your tank oriented facing the tank so it doesn't get destroyed. Lancers being on the right means selvaria can't attack so easy win from there. Take out the lancer and keep your scout with the lancers in case any other troops get around.

I tried this to the last detail but i failed to hit the recators with my mortar it didn't work for some reason. That aside i finally got the mission done thanks for all the help.

Is this confirmed to work on the remaster? I have all 3 of the radiators sub 100 hp, use demolition boost and it only ever destroys 1 radiator. I use the exact method you do and the same result every time. Only one radiator will be destroyed.

Why did you keep climbing the ladders? were you baiting the Valkyria to hit the tank with a laser blast?

I've been unlucky enough to have upgraded my lancaar to level 3 before finding this video. Just for verification, have you already attempted your 4-turn method with the level 3 lancaar?

I have m3 and I don't really have a way to fix that. wondering if there's an alternative to using the lancers twice? Do grenades work?

I don't think I ever actually tested it, because my calculations said it would do too much damage to work properly. You can give it a shot, but unfortunately, I don't think it will work out. :(

I don't understand how you are damaging the radiators with the tank mortar. Every time I try it, it does no damage to the radiators. What am I doing wrong?

i try do this but i think it was luck, because everytime the potential appear i automatic destroy thr generator and the other two will close if you destroy it 2x with potential activated.

So now my scout next to Oscar dies before the cannon even shoots. What am I doing wrong?

I remember that I use alicia and another scout to grenade the hell out of that tank and one engineer to refill the grenades, a sniper with using welkin as cover to damage the other units and some lancer as cannon fodder

is it best to have your team at level 8 or higher?

If you do this map blind, YEAHHHHHH this map will give you severe problems. I remember doing this chapter blind and Mrs Valkyria strolls on down and massacres most of my entire party like it's nothing and practically ruins my run

Props to the engineer. Through his support fire, he was able to take down the tank all by himself (that's what he thinks anyway)

my lancers make too much damage (lvl 8) 2 shots and i kill the radiator. and one shot just isn't enough. what am i doing wrong? pls advice!!

theres an easier way to take out the radiators by throwing a grenade in each one when theyre open. the grenade annhilates one generator each

Yeah, this ONLY works if those potential bonuses go up, if they don't it's not going to be a 4 turn win.

Nice, but if you do it this way you miss the chance of killing their ace and getting the gun upgrade. Is it possible to win in only 4 turns and kill the ace?

I dont do enough damage. Lancers are lvl 8 and i have M3. But only do Less Than 1/4 of damage to the radiators. Why am I so much weaker? Everybody else here seems to be too strong with M3

Gran estrategia, en mis primeros intentos hacia algo parecido, pero siempre perdia alguna unidad (an ingenier) por eso cambie radicalmente a la otra estrategia de esperar los turnos (también me sirve para matar a Kanazar the Lion) pero gran, gran, gran batalla, los barriste y eso es lo que me gusta de este tipo de juegos... que los derrotes con sus propias reglas. I really dont know why people are salty over some AI-controlled tank/woman. They are part of the game and part of the challenge. Why angry over losing some footmen in a game when you have unlimited lives to spare, and why frustrated over some fail attemps when you can just save your progress and retry the challenge. In real warfare you see lethal and advance weapons all the time, but you cant waste every life and and re-do everything. If there is anything bad about this game, that is the game going too easy on the players.
