You forgot how painful to use Misteln is without HoRb, Seele was literally made to fix the crit rate issue. Also Susannah is very much worth since Luna may deal bleed dmg but considering the Bleed bosses that we have rn, either typeless(pisacha), Quantum or Bio (senti), Susannah still outperforms Luna. Susannah also covers most physical weathers which still makes her valuable and will only get better once Griseo 2.0 arrives.

Something to mention in terms of HoS viability is that if captains don't plan on retaining nirvana, HoS is usually preferred over HoRb for global red lotus temperatures for her faster opener. For lotus HP pulls the 10-15% DPS increase of HoRb over HoS doesn't amount to a full rotation almost ever. That being said, HoRb allows you to compensate for not having full DPS gear and also gives more future proofing in case temps increase. Another thing worth mentioning is HoRb with just weapon + best alternative set is barely an upgrade over full geat HoS so captains should plan their pulls accordingly

Metas are temporary, Waifus are eternal. But Divine Keys are different stories.

I recently got back after a 1 year long hiatus and was beyond overwhelmed by the amount of characters that were added and how much the meta had shifted. My main was Mobius before that so finding out she's now considered "old" was a bit sad. The same goes for some of my other well invested characters like Griseo, Senti, Fallen Rosemary. So I thought about it a bit and decided that this will be my goal moving forward. Mobius (have full gear) - Eden (need weapon, crafting Hendel set atm) - Fischl (have bow, TurgTB MeiM) - > Fischl gets replaced by Herrscher of Truth later (need her and weapon) Herrscher of Human (have weapon, need stigmata) - Sushang (need all gear) - Kira (need weapon, TurgTB MeiM) Herrscher of Death (need her and all gear + outfit) - Senti (have gloves, budget support stigmata) - Griseo (have full gear) Also I will get Nyx somehow for Quantum weathers. I have full Verne but lack her and her weapon.

This is definitely the best pull guide i've seen on youtube in a while, most of them just recommend you pull for ebery valf full gear in the last 5/next 2 patches, which isn't really feasible for any newbie/f2p. Overall, some really good tips 👍

A section/graphic showing pros/cons for valkyrie/weapon investment at the end of each section would be beneficial. It helps to reiterate more (since this video is primarily geared towards newer/uneducated players with limited resources/time/money) that gearing towards farmable Valkyries/Weapons/Stigmata is preferred over chasing the latest Valkyrie on rotation and being unlucky to not be able to pull everything needed to make them work. Thankfully that was made very clear in the Fire DPS section that Sirin being strong and farmable entirely (with the exception of the weapon being a gacha pull only) made her more worthy of investing into, both due to her recent release and because it's legitimately possible to eventually get her to SSS rank in a timely manner for accounts spending minimal amounts (ex: Battle Pass + Monthly Card only) A section/graphic showing usable off-elemental supports would also be useful. Herscher of Truth, Pardofelis, and Shigure Kira are all ice types but function well as a 3rd slot in most Fire teams. You did show Herrscher of Truth in the Fire section and how to gear her, but showing Pardofelis and Shigure Kira and how to gear them for supporting fire teams would also be welcome. A section/graphic on how to support any give DPS would also be welcome. For example, we know that Herrscher of Rebirth and Prometheus are great physical supports, but players assuming that Valkyrie Quicksand can crit would mistake that Herrscher of Rebirth to be a must with Quicksand, even though Rebirth's 100% crit support doesn't apply to Valkyrie Quicksand. Additionally, early testing shows Starry Impressions Griseo will function well alongside Jedi Griseo in an upcoming patch, as a Bleed support. So Griseo functioning as a Bleed support/enabler is important to mention, especially since as an SP Valkyrie, her ranks can be grinded for over enough time.

I do gotta say that pulling for Susannah is still pretty good investment in most teams that has bleed, her stigmata is super powerful for support, and yea she’s been out for quite a while and she is an sp valk but still really good. not to mention she can cover a lot of the phys weathers if given the right support too but dont prioritise her first she’s gonna get powercrept (her stigs most likely won’t be)

I came back from honkai after a 2 year break to find out that almost every valk needs their signature weapon XD

Nice video. However, I think ill be skipping pulling for any characters after depleting my resources for lunar vow (4/4 and herself). Pulling for HoTr still seems pretty good but then again, I think I should be saving up for Jedi Griseo and other future valks that might be coming out later on :D

I always loved Mei and I 4/4 HoO on release (it really helped that she was basically halfway done for free) and have been using her as a dps ever since. It's true that she's not the best, but I enjoy her gameplay more than HoT and am planning on S2 her on her next banner. Also I have HoFin and am going to get HoTr if I can to complete the trio

Putting this here for other new players like myself. Bao Pham probably cannot say it in the video cause this is unofficial information right now and the vid could get taken down. Don't continue reading if you don't want leaks/spoilers. If you have 4/4 Lunar Vow, don't rank up GD and don't pull for HoTr. Start ranking up Kira instead to use with LV (SS minimum, SSS if you somehow have 4/4 gears) and save for the new sp valk coming in 7.1. You'll need ~20k crystals to get all her gears and she can be bought with Asterite. She is Lunar Vow's best support and makes her A LOT stronger.

sort of unrelated, but would you recommend Dea Anchora or Sushang as the free valk choice? I'm instinctively tempted to go DA just because dudu but I also want the meta perspective. I'm new so I only really have HoHE and Argent Knight (and a few others like fallen rosemary etc), and none of them are super well-built.

If i knew earlier i wouldn't have spent as much on Calico, For Shigura there isn't much written about her (i think its most recent sp valk) but thanks to you i have a clear answer now. I've seen you're quite active in the comment section which deserve a well earned sub ! Got a few question if you don't mind ; 1. With HoS new dps set and Prometheus, who would you recommend as a 2nd support aside from HoRb ? 2. I feel like bleed dmg is becoming its whole new thing, like new type by itself, Luna being lightning type. Even with a physical team, it is necessary to build a bleed team comp in addition to a pure physical team ? I dont know much about +80lvl abyss weathers and all, but are there bleed weathers ?

hos has been relevant since her first ever patch so i'd say it's a worthy investment

Honestly I still use HoO as my General Lightning dps and she's honestly really fun,and definitely funner than HoT for me so maybe she'll get a buff at some point because she's kinda lackluster in terms of gameplay even in trio team

You should probably put a disclaimer that this is for low spenders, f2p should never pull a dps past their first rerun. Supports are debatable but if a new S rank support the older S rank support should be put on a “spender only” tier Also you didnt mentioned kira on fire support even though you mentioned while knowing that kira fully powercrept pardo even on off elements support capabilities (other than phys i guess bcs kira give ele damage instead of tdm) Sirin isnt that great as a fire dps, she is great as an ignite dps but as fire dps she is usable at best(youre not going to see anyone bruteforcing symphony weather with sirin). Sirin already win against SS spina when sirin is S1. Knowing MHY sirin weapon wont be on a rate up banner for at least another 6 months just like what they did with sushang and at that point we should already have another fire DPS so recommending to build sirin is a bit iffy (unless they only need fire team to finish their elemental coverage, but even then it’s debatable)

bro, in HI3rd, latest herscher and their equipment is a must have. and the priority increase if they can support. non herscher dps valk usually last untill new valk from same coverage appears. but herscher valk can withstand meta for at least one year before powercrept

I got luna + weapon and 1 stigmata should i keep pulling for other stig or use handel set?

Susannah literally stole Hare boss + best bleed dps (vastly outperforms Luna) + incredible quantum killer (except Kosma) Susannah is literally better than Hare for an account. Susannah also breaks physical bosses pretty reliably, even if shes not top score, she is GOOD on them. For Susannah, what you said is CAP at best. Get susannah.

you mind mentioning that Truth doesnt refresh Mei M off-field and that she doesnt "support" ice team. flexible stig option doesnt include Candy T, Mei Beach M and Newt B, her elemental supports and breaach are only for lightning and fire

I used to watch those guides like year ago. Then I played on my own. I don't have half of these valks mentioned. Still using haxxor bunny and pardo for HoHE and that is completely fine. Staying with SSSR support valks and keep you staying high longer than with these new SR valks, which drops over time. Besides I don't wanna play valks I don't like. Staying in red lotus is fine. Too much effort to go higher. This guide sounds like "On you totally need Herrscher of Truth. It's top 1 unit". But that is not true I was always saying there is something wrong with honkai impact community. No one in genshin, nor star rail is saying you must get this or that unit. Remember this is just game and what are supposed to have here is fun, not be meta slave

I'm still a new player and I have no idea if I still have to build teams for a specific class (like for physical, fire, ice teams etc.) So I ask this; Can I build ONLY ONE team to carry me the entire game? I searched everywhere and I don't have a clear answer of how different teams work.

i pull lunar simply coz i skip susannah. at the time im saving for herscher seele coz i thought she would be bleed dps. resulting in my rank down each time bleed abyss up

HoF and HoH will receive their divine keys in the future. I love their stories (esp Elysia, she is the sole reason that I join HI3). I think u forget the fact that newcomers can just choose to stay at lvl 80 (not breaking through the ceiling) and still get the same amount of crystals in Agony III. That way there is 0 meta pressure

Me: Who cares about top DPS or support, as long as I pull for my number 1 waifu Bronya with a complete set it's all that matters to me because Bronya is life. Without Bronya I wouldn't play Honkai impact 3 😑😑😑😑

I guess ill just enjoy what i can from the story and leave the game at that.. I do not understand how new players are supposed to keep up with most of the meta..i guess you have to no-life the game as a f2p.😓
