Majorca is a very popular holiday destination for almost all of Europe. It is loved by, among others, Poles and Germans. No wonder, this Spanish island has a lot to offer its visitors. From the warm, turquoise Mediterranean Sea, breathtaking mountain views, to very atmospheric towns with iconic narrow streets decorated with flowers seen in the most beautiful pictures. One of such towns is the small Valldemossa, located in the Serra de Tramuntana mountains.
Personally, I consider it one of the most charming places of its kind. This is exactly how I imagined Spain in the countryside, full of historical buildings (Chopin also lived and romanced here) and surrounded by picturesque landscapes.
If you are planning a holiday in Majorca, I sincerely recommend renting a car for one day and coming to see this mountain town. It is definitely one of Majorca's top attractions.
