Valletta: City the Knights of Saint John Built 

Today I’m taking you on a discovery walk through Valletta, Malta, the city of the Knights of Saint John Hospitaller. This city covers less than 150 American acres or about twice the size of the farm I grew up on. It is jam-packed with history and things to see, so this is part 1. The Knights carved it out of solid rock on a barren peninsula as a new, planned city--the smallest capital in Europe, and the furthest south in the European Union
