You should do a review on the hayate otsu xsoft as it’s basically the zeros stopping power with a speed similar but not as fast as the hien I think you would like it plus yay uses it “I used yays mousepad” or “I tried yays setup in valorant” as you have his keyboard and mouse it’s easy content
Bought a zero and a hein at the exact same time. Thought I would like the hein so I used it initially and noticed it was a little too fast. Switched to the zero and have not used the hein since (actually ended up giving the hein to my buddy who like faster pads).
You are the FIRST person I have ever seen, to have same opinion as me when it comes to the zero. The zero isn’t really a slow pad. It’s the slowest artisan yes but not a slow pad. Still great
You’re so right about the zero being more controlled, I bought the osu and the zero both in mid and now I can’t choose whether I want speed or control because I like the illusion of feeling fast from the osu. But then I’m kinda stuck because I want the control feeling I get from the zero lol. I’m glad I got both to keep maybe I’ll just switch pads for different games, idk yet. I play destiny 2 and cod
@@t.Coopey Im wondering if the hein soft would provide me with that best of both worlds, speed and control. (That’s what I’m honestly looking for lol) When I get the hein I’ll update my comment and let you know if I get that feeling because I’m looking for speed and control.
@@KallMeChris I've been looking at the haysteotsu xsoft for a while but i'm honestly not sure on what to buy so i started looking at reviews on the other pads and i think i'm just going to go for the hien, but not sure which one to go for
@@KallMeChrisI recently purchased Hayate Otsu XSoft (mainly cause Soft wasn't in stock) and the Hien Soft. I can say that the XSoft has a negligent effect for me personally - meaning it doesn't actually slow me down whatsoever but I guess I just do not press into my mouse that hard. Hien Soft is "fast" but honestly I think people have made it seem faster than it actually is. It is definitely fast but very controllable at the same time. If you've not yet made a buy then I'd say get the hien if you think the slightly abrasive surface wouldn't effect you. The Hayate Otsu is a slight step up from the Zero I'd say. I do really like the way the Hayate Otsu feels though, it's currently MY preferred.
Hey! Been loving the content. Did you order it off their website and how long did it take to arrive? Been using the Hien for over a year and been thinking about trying the zero.
have you ever tried the glorious mousepad ? its what I currently use because it covers my whole desk and I feel its good for fps games because its smooth.
i have both, and my game of choice is cs and apex. when playing cs zero felt great, but playing apex hien always feels so much better. man i wish they gonna create sumthin in the middle that is perfect for my games of choice. also hien durability is insane doesnt lose any new feels from it and doesnt break at all.
imo the difference is negligible. They basically perform the same with the xsoft being softer for your wrist. If you think the xsoft is a little bit too muddy than soft might be worth it.
Wow, your mouse sensitivity is super low. Personal preference, obviously, and great idea adding that footage, but now I'm wondering if in fact the Hien is better for me at a higher mouse sensitivity. Thanks for the video.
Hey man! I'm thinking about getting a new mousepad. I have been using a Razer Goliathus Extended Chroma for about 9 months now and decided it's about time for something more tailored to precise aim. Do you think the Zero soft or the Mid is most fit for high sens? I play on .28 valorant sens and 1600 dpi. Thanks for making this video!
The stitching on soft and extrasoft is lower then the mid. Some reviews I watched said it can be a bit annoying but also soft and extra soft are very comfortable especially extra soft as the softer you go the more stopping power you get.
Hey, Im getting a new mouse and mousepad. The new mouse is 36 grams. I wanted the hien (I already have one but its very slow feeling now and idk how to make it feel fast and crisp again) So, should I go with the zero instead?( more controlled and I would have a very light mouse) - Also if you know please tell me how to make it not feel muddy and more crisp and fast. Thanks
honestly the hien is better for tracking, many peoples are complaining about tracking on the zero, i'll recomand you a hien or a similar one (depend if you are a wirst players to, hien is 100% better)
Hey. Can you review the razer viper v2 pro or the Razer Deathadder V3? both mice are competitors for the superlight and support up to 4000hz polling rate ive owned all excluding the deathadder (because it’s just the v2 with an ergo shape and i have small hands) imo they’re definitely way better than the superlight
wdym improved version, where did u read that. Even the LGG says that they used cheaper materials then the Artisans. They fixed the dust/hair stuff on the zero but i don't think they are and improved artisan XD
The saturn pro is not a zero copy but a hien copy. Check out Boardzy's mousepad tier list video. He specifically made a tier for Artisan Hien copies and lgg saturn / saturn pro is there.
I went from a razer strider to a zero and I am more consistent in precision aiming but I definitely notice its harder to flick and the faster strider was way more fun. I think the hien would be a good middleground for me
I never got a hien because I ended up getting the ulx which is a very light mouse so the zero works better for it. However if you really love how your current mouse feels on the strider I would try the hien instead of the zero if you want to keep the fun speed. Keep in mind, the feel will also depend on the mouse skates your using. Theyre all slightly different textures so one may feel more buttery smooth on one pad vs the other.@@TheDragonReds
how would you go about deep cleaning artisan pads? i have a hien and washed it in bathtub with dish soap and my hands but i feel like i ruined the glide on it, so ive ordered 2 zero’s and dont wanna mess them up
I clean my Artisan Zero using laundry detergent and a microfiber cloth. Here's a video guide of how I do it: www.tiktok.com/@jaekytv/video/7241067090763844870
It's totally your preference but the Hien usually works better with higher sens. For me on the gpx 0.42 800dpi what feels comfortable (i was using lower sens on other pads) so you might want to try raising your sens if you are curious. Oh and one more thing tiger arc 1 skates make the pad feel balanced as they are slower than the stock ones.
@Wolfseize Hi i didn't really played val since i got the pad. Mainly because my duo stopped playing and i bought corepads which f-ed my aim (now using arc2-s).. But if you are curious about the pad i'm still using it and it's still my favorite. I have my highest aiming score on it (gsr se rouge is close second). If you have any question about the pad i'll gladly answer.
@Wolfseize i did use stock skates on the gsr se. On the hien I've only used arc 1 and arc 2. Arc 1 gives more control while arc 2 is similar to the stock feet both works good on the hien. as for the stock feet check Scourge's videos he is using the stock one's
it's personal preference the xsoft, soft, and mid are ALL amazing mousepads for valorant, it all depends on the amount of pressure you apply during mouse usage do you find yourself applying the same amount of pressure in all situations? do you apply more pressure when tapping from longer range? these factors are what determine whether or not you go xsoft, soft, or mid people like gotdante1026 (the other guy who replied) that mindlessly choose xsoft or soft are retarded
haha you fker i just bought a hien 2 days ago based on your original review ^.^. Well atleast now i know, maybe ill try the zero after, thx for the honest update
