So I'm guessing we're gonna rotate the Champions location among the 4 regions. 2024 - Seoul (APAC) 2025 - Paris (EMEA) 2026 - China 2027 - Americas 2028 - back to APAC again, and so on I like this idea Riot, big W.
@@nono-yd8ijyeah true, that shits so frustrating. Like you’d imagine that players that good would actually be impacted by that though, even if it is a tiny difference between reactions in ms.
suggestion, there should be another ascension s-tier tournament like winner of each ascension region (4 teams from each region) will compete together in single short series(like semis and final) and winner of that series will face VCT champions of that same year, just like UEFA super cup which played between UCL and UEL winner.
Lol it's gonna be coughing baby versus hydrogen bomb. You're essentially asking T2 players to versus the best team in the world. Other than g2 (I mean the guard was alr top seeds last time) literally all the t2 teams were so shit. Best other t2 team was drg lmao
@@yuze3047 Lmao, a lot of T2 teams are better than T1, and this isn't just any T2 team, They will be the winner of the ascension, who will anyway play the T1 team in the league phase following promotion, so it will be fair to both teams. They can manage to crush T1.
@@twitch7657 What, literally other than G2, what EMEA and NA Ascension teams are gonna keep up with winners of VCT Champs? GentleM8s, Apeks, Bleed? No chance... They cant even keep up in regular season
@@twitch7657 you realise that T2 teams dont even have the resources to compete with T1 teams over an year long season rt? Ur Idea of a Super Cup can be best implemented by just putting together the winners of the masters and champions tournaments together in a group and kicking off the new season with this tournament.Otherwise the idea isnt very practical
Many good changes but I hope SO MUCH that you implement the playoff seeding which TMV suggests. Otherwise there will be ao many irrelevant games later in the split
The only thing that isnt clear to me is “refreshing” the classic skins. Is it that hard to just give us a Ghost if youre not willing to do a rifle? Classic skins only really sucks for anyone who bought one this year as obviously they cant equip both.
A preview of the Valorant Champions Chongqing 2026: The slogan of the competition is "Master, Prentice, Together, Clutch!". The MV of the theme song is the story of a player who sended "Recruiting Prentices" and really recruited a prentice, and finally the prentice entered the Valorant Champions under his careful education. The 2026 champions skins has two main guns: Vandal, means "master" Odin, means "Pretence" Both main guns have obvious neo-Chinese and kung Fu elements The melee is a nunchakus. Yes, nunchakus After reaching level 2, the tap action and view are very cool, and the Heave hit is a Kick! A literal kick! The important thing is that holding the nunchakus and pressing it twice can make a fist salute, and this view has a third person perspective! [A real master will only look at the word "Recruiting Prentices" literally]
Love everything but having Phase 1 act as a sort of “practice” before Phase 2 sucks. But they’re expanding and making as much room possible for more teams to compete and I love to see it. ps. WATCH GAME CHANGERS! IT’S THE BEST FEMALE ESPORTS EVENT CURRENTLY!
Now all I care about is them using SWISS format instead of double elimination. Hopefully we see this somewhere. It’s more interesting to never see the same 2 teams fighting twice
great i wanted to go to champions paris thinking that it would be when i have summer break and now im actually crying cause i wont be able to go cause i will be in school, thanks riot
I know its fairly recent, but is there going to be a console pro scene, premier, or challengers in any kinda way? So that the console community can also be involved in a more professional way
Why are there no lock-in style tournaments anymore? Just genuinely curious because it sounds like a good thing for international viewers to watch teams of all skill levels and regions go head to head.
