She's still usable but for shorter distances. I think most raze mains should be able to adapt to her. But yeah as a raze player she is way more unfun now.
Yeah true that raze wasn’t broken but, she is the best duelist out there. No ones close to her. With this nerf people will choose more of other duelist. In vct I see neons pick rate increase that’s all, but raze is going to be the most used duelist. As for iso am not sure, they defo improved his abilities but the ult is still shit, might be an increase of pick rate in ranked but not vct.
wasn't broken , but raze is number 1 duelist on pro play, riot wanted to make neon atleast got a spot on pro play , even like yoru is playable on some map like breeze , so maybe riot wanted us (especially on pro play) to have a different choice when it comes to duelist agent , instead of relying on raze
Bro temet is going crazy with the double slide, with the two slides, you can possibly do a 4 dash boost, one at buy round at the boarder, one when round start, one ult slide, and another "E" slide, man imma go back and main neon again

@@LucaLuctbf I don’t main raze but I have an idea of her satchels I sort of love and dislike the nerf at the same time cause I mean I think riots main aim was to give other duelists more gametime and the one duelists that takes up all that space is raze in comp and pro play but on the other hand restricting her movement such that her ability to entry gets smashed into the ground is definitely very sad so like in the end I stand at a neutral stand on her nerf

yeah, it shows that they care about quality of life rather than just silencing or appeasing the masses, they have ideas and they try to make the agent feel fresh or in Viper and Skye's case, push you out of your comfort zone
yeah. they nerf ALL NEONS ABILITIES. THE WALL IS USELESS NOW AND U CAN ONLY STUN ONCE BUT FOR O.5 SECONDS MORE. but they gave the MOST USELESS extra slide to neon. YOU CAN LITERALLY GET ANOTHER SLIDE AFTER A KILL WE DONT NEED 2. AND WE ALSO GOT A USELESS SPEED BOOST just so riot can call that a buff. neon did not get buffed at all, she got nerfed AND everybody is playing neon now. Neon didnt need a buff or nerf at all. many people made it to radiant with only neon and it was not hard at all. neon could make better team plays then most duelists could. It was not as good as raze or jett but way better than reyna, iso .
I'm surprised no one is talking about the iso buff, like do you know how oppressive it is to have a free shield every two kills, like u can pop your shield at the start of a round try to get a pick and then u need one more kill to get it again, he's much stronger than people give him credit for, neon may be good but she's still getting destroyed by cypher
Actually I think isos orb will still be there, in a convo with plat chat the dev said that iso will still have those shootable orbs, so even more oppressive.

That Iso buff was very similar to one I suggested ages ago. Being able to activate a Shield pre-contact is REALLY strong, and makes it trivial to contest Operator firelanes at Round start. The fact he needs 2 kills to get another Shield is a hard tradeoff though, but ultimately its still a substantial buff.
I like this buff, he can shield before entry and refill that shield with a kill orb, additionally, getting two kills recharges his shield ability; so if your shield runs out, you can just pop the ability to get a free shield which is pretty useful for a 1v1 clutch situation in giving you a chance at winning.
yeah people are talking about dual slides and stuff...but to me, the weapon accuracy and instant equip are the most disgusting buffs ever. Imagine a full speed neon with a stinger or a judge sliding into your face.
That reyna buff is going to be absolutely insane, the fact that her ult and overheal doesn't have a timer is just nuts. And also, i really like how they changed iso, now he actually has more advantage when taking those early round duels. For example when peeking an op, now he can activate the shield first and counter the op like how he's supposed to do in the first place. So far, these changes are really solid, and im glad that riot is going on the right direction.

Now you need 2 kills to get another charge. But if you do get fight and get a kill, an orb(can also spawn from assist) will spawn which will refresh shield when shot and also get 1/2 charge needed to get another charge. It's for scenarios when you can't shoot the orb otherwise you will die to his teammates trying to trade or you need to reload. In that case getting another kill can grant you the charge needed for 1 sec animation to go in again. tldr: 3 ways to get shield now. 1 free, 2nd assist or kill with Orb shooting, 3rd if you get 2 kills and charge for doing animation of 1 sec.
Dude the Reyna did not get buffed over heal matters a lot. The ult buff is so mid you would use ult when you’re pushing or getting pushed anyways like that’s not as good as you think. The heal nerf was so insanely bad for Reyna

At close range, anything is fair gamer, but at distance, this is a huge buff. If their whiff their first shots, you'll basically have 2 chances to fire at them while they reset.

4:13 Slight correction, as you said it was the sideways strafe sprint speed that was buffed, so you would've needed to test strafing, not forward bhopping.
the raze nerf just forces raze players to focus on horizontal velocity instead of vertical as if you even have a tiny bit more vertical velocity, the total distance traveled gets reduced by a noticeable margin, however, horizontal based satchels in order to get high ground for e.g. to catch the enemies off guard for 2 picks before dying and whatnot will still be used just not as often. Albeit the nerf was unneeded, it just forces raze players to use their satchels more decisively.
@@ShubhamSharma-sk7vp true. imo raze ult needs both elevation and speed and you could balance it out before 8.11 patch, now you are kind of forced to use ult in scenarios where you are guaranteed kills and are unable to take more risky plays.
Using Iso double tap with one charge only gonna feel cruel for me because if they are not even in the right site or place when I use it, the timer will expire and I'll have to kill 2 to able to recast it again. The thing I wonder is the orb when you kill someone will be present or not
honestly, for everyone that doesnt play raze, its kind of a balanced nerf. Raze can still come flying into backsite, and still seems like a nightmare to play against, but shes only limited to that. This matches what they said, that raze players are rewarded too much for being able to satchel into site with no util or support. To everyone that doesn't play raze, her satchels still work. But the satisfaction of going so far is gone.
I see so much of a difference in the neon wall and stuns, the slide and sprint is also noticeably different and I cant wait to learn how to fully utilize the new movement buffs
I don't even know how significant these changes will be but they're insanely cool. I love me a Reyna nerf, won't be nearly as frustrating to play against her anymore. Iso is a brand new character, excellent as a first contact agent, but he still can't really entry without his ult. Neon looks busted as hell, only having 1 stun isn't that bad when it's significantly stronger and the slide accuracy is crazy. Anyone getting caught by any util will get absolutely mauled by this new slide mechanic. I think Raze will still be fine since her ult and nade are are strong but definitely a needed nerf. Edit: forgot about Clove. She'll be fine guys, Omen was always better anyway.
Iso finally seeing some good reworks but I still need the ability to stop the bulletproof wall like harbours wall. If they do that, it’s a meta changer.

I get they want to give other duelist a chance hence nerfing raze,but considering the buff they made to neon why would you even need to nerf raze and the fact they nerfed the movement which takes a lot a skill and prac,(personaly i hate raze kit but nerfing her movement was n L move,they couldve nerfed her nade and boombot and be done with it
Idk but iso shield is op now if you hear a raze ult just activate your sheild instead of getting 1 kills and then activating it. Pushing a op activate your sheild

@@Skelettett You realize that sage's ult has different conditions to be met? Obviously there are tradeoffs to Clove ult as well. You are reviving only yourself, you miss out on all the utility and brain power a whole other person can bring to the table. Clove's ult does not have absolute dominance over sage, it is just more threatening and forgiving in the most important scenarios. 1) A self res that requires no teammate to be alive post plant is immense pressure applied. Sage cannot do this. 2) Because clove's ult is meant to be used after death, if she is 1 point off and dies, she gets that 1 point and can use it in the same round itself. This is a huge bonus as no other agent can do this. If they die, they must wait till next round. People will have to keep this in mind when playing against Clove. 3) Clove's ult is dynamic unlike Sage's. She can reposition and has a tiny amount of time to do so. Even the smallest of movements can be the difference. Sage's revive is a death sentence if they are not guarded. 4) Sage needs to be located near a body physically, you are potentially risking 2 people dying from your team here as compared to the single death from Clove. As for the other person, I do see the downsides. And you can have your opinion if you find Sage's ult more powerful, but I am not biased. I am simply going off my own analysis, feel free to give additional arguments on why it is inferior to Sage ult and I will be happy to learn.
I wish he could've bring in another person to help him to record cuz it def feels better seeing those slides and sachel on another perspective and also help by killing him on clove to see the duration (which he could just fly and fall) or the reyna heal now that it only can heal to 50 def felt like the battle sage nerf Honestly the best thing out of this update is Iso's E and Ult buff since he's now a better first contact duelist with that shield he can provide himself i would love to see the wall buff where he can press it again to make it stop like Harbour's hightide def make him more viable in proplay and ranked for locking down sites,entry and cover planter I felt sad abt the raze nerf ngl with that distant i can already tell i'm hitting walls or sachel half way on my first tries
reyna got buffed significantly especially when she's in her ult because the dismiss speed got buffed heavily, plus empress lasts the whole round so you don't have to worry about immediately taking a duel
i dont understand? people instalock Reyna and Neon almost everytime, there is no shortness of Duelist players. They heavily nerfed Viper and now buff duelists so people rely on aim more than abilities? Not everyone has god like aim or more importantly, ping. So relying on abilties to help teammates is what made Valorant different from CS
Maybe you could've added a little speed boost in iso while having his shield up or maybe change undercut into mobility ability so he could entry site faster
When iso ults didnt he already turn on double tap? My prediction is that you wouldnt need to pop double tap before ultimate cuz iso pops double tap in the ult anyway

people complain about the reyna ult thing, but if ur good with reyna it doesn't rlly do much since you should be getting kills, but for nubs its better
i dont play raze but man, i dont want her satchels nerfed, part of the fun of going agaist her was her satchel, theyre lowkey ruining her fun game style

I'm so happy for the Reyna nerf because when I happen to play her, I basically never use her ult since it lasts so short and I'm not sure I'm getting a kill with it soon. The pressure of getting a kill was too much
