Ahh they kept iso’s scuffed aimlabs mechanic. I’m just glad you no longer have to shoot orbs to get shield. They call it double tap bc you get shot in the head twice when you go to shoot the orb.
I dont think you can call Reyna one is a "buff", more like a "change", because she will be much weaker in lower ranks and I doubt that dismiss speed and longer ultimate will boost her winrate in higher ranks a lot...
How will she be weaker in lower ranks because of the health? If you're doing Reyna properly you hardly ever needed the full 100 and the infinite armor is far stronger lol. It doesn't affect the smurf issue at all
@@funkycrawler619 nah, as a low-rank Reyna main I would say that change will definitely make the Reyna weaker in low ranks. Now you can not just trade your HP and regen almost all of them as you will be weaker in your second 1:1 moment. You know, at lower ranks, it's not about positioning and headshots, it's about who will fire more bullets first. For example: WAS: Start with 100 HP and 50 Armor -> win 4:3 body shots of vandal 1:1 duel -> Regen 100 HP -> End with 100 HP 22 HP Overheal (still can take 4:3 trade with 2 HP left which result in 100 HP 2 HP Overheal after regen) NOW: Start with 100 HP and 50 Armor -> win 4:3 body shots of vandal 1:1 duel -> Regen 50 HP -> End with 72 HP All of these trades are twice as dangerous now.
@@art_gf My point being if you are playing Reyna like that I don't think you're optimizing how to play her and improving (which is the goal for rank to improve) lol and even to what you said "who fires more bullets first" the Ult being infinite alone just compensates a lot for the Heal change.
@@art_gfyea you get it/understand the real gameplay bro even brought receipts *chefs kiss* 🔥 the fact that people don’t understand all you need to win a 4:3 vandal body shot trade is 121 hp is astounding, that’s vital on Sage & even more min-max on Skye I play healers in every game & when I play Val I’m ALWAYS thinking about how many body shots I (or whoever I’m spectating) can take. It’s underrated in lower elo bc there’s more obvious body shot banditry than 1-tapping heads. So the Reyna “changes” are indeed much closer to nerfs than anything else. It’s like calling that 1 viper update a “change” & not a nerf bc they “buffed the molly & nerfed EVERYTHING ELSE” TLDR: the Reyna “changes” are an overall net-nerf. The movement speed buff is a welcome pleasant surprise but the healing really should’ve been tested at 75 before rolling out bc guarantee ppl are gonna be complaining that the new Reyna heal being comparable to Sage’s self heal is gonna feel & will feel awful. ACTUAL TLDR: Reyna changes make her better for high elo where playmakers need her move speed & infinite ult so they don’t feel rushed & she’s crippled in lower elo now that her healing has been cut in half & she can now only take two 4:3 body shot duels down from its original 3-4. So essentially a strict 2 < from 4-ish. Very yikes 💀
One thing I didn't see any content creators do with Iso is to ult WITHOUT casting E. Currently he gets a free double tap when he ults. Does he get a free shield when ulting post buff? Every early access creator REFUSES to naked ult so this question is never answered (despite spamming in their chat do try it...). Guess I'll have to find it out myself when patch drops...
For the Iso bullet tag clip I would have made sure to use the same gun since you walk faster with the classic than you do with the vandal. It makes it look like the old clip slows you down less than the new because you reach the wall sooner.
In the old patch, if ISO ulted without casting double tap, he gets a free refreshed charge upon entering (but with no shield). With the new double tap, does he still get a free cast but now WITH shield (if you don't cast double tap prior to ulting)? Or if you want shield into ult you still have to cast double tap first then ult?
Iso main here, so fun little thing now is that you can ult decoys and essentially waste your ult now which I'm hoping is unintended. Just ulted a yoru clone and won from shooting it.
nerfing raze like that then buffing neon by a drastic amount is outrageous. truly a dark era for valorant, raze's satchels were a key part in her kit, and now even in lower elo's such as gold I get shot once in a while. now imagine with the current raze nerfs??? I move as fast as someone who's normally just walking.
While I do think they over-buffed neon, they still didn’t need to nerf raze by that much. However, I wouldn’t say that it’s the “dark era” of valorant by any means. The changes made to Reyna and Iso are great, the new map is fun and much more different from previous maps and the armory hud update gives the game a slight refresh. We’ll have to see how much raze is affected but they can always tweak numbers and make changes.
I called it balance considering dealing with new meta strategy as neon were getting left out plus it would be fun to see a new changes in the meta, its a win-win ig
Her duels will be much better with her slide and run buffs But her enter will be way weaker with the wall and stun changes Her defense will also be way weaker with only 1 stun
Is agent banning still not viable for the game rn? Like i love the buffs but sometimes the nerfs are kind of a cheap way to make players change strats and comps especially if ur only doing it mostly for the sake of character variety in pro play
As someone who has a lot of issues with long load times and dc's, this severity increase is going to hit me hard. Already dealing with 1 hour+ timers at least every couple of days :(
So I’m playing the closed beta on console atm and I fell like I’m missing something or it’s bugged because when I slide on neon rather than her gun immediately readying I just get the equip animation and aren’t able to shoot during my slide

why did they change my comms wheel. When I didn't wanted to talk that much, it was so easier nefore to tell where I am going or where the enemies are going or coming , with commands like : going a, b, c. play for picks. this was so vital now I have nothing to communicate without opening my mic for everything. Like I dont give a shit about hello, nice try or whatever.
This makes Reyna and Iso to be used more usefully and passively while encouraging clove to be more aggressive. Plus 50 meters is kind of too big (for mid ranks where people dont react to sound queues more often) its gonna result in iso being an unstoppable lurking force with 150 + infinte hp

I love the new radio wheel, but I want the radio menu to get the same updates. I really want to say the new voice lines but they simply aren't available on there, and I don't like to use the radio wheel at all.

They nerfing Clove ult when I could barely survive ulting Clove... Also,maybe it's just me but I feel like her smokes disappear so quickly yet regen so slow I find myself spamming the smoke button waiting for it to regen everytime I play Clove, but not really when I play any other controllers
I think Yoru's ult is now completely undetectable, when I had a Yoru against me and used his ult, I couldn't see the blue screen thing that shows up if he's near to you
Yeah this is Patch 8.11, it's adding a ton of stuff despite being just a regular patch, meanwhile in 2 weeks we'll get Episode 9 Act 1 and Patch 9.00, so that update will feel underwhelming since we're getting all the content now
Empress to round end eh? So that removes the drawback someone gets from just instantly activating it at the beginning of a round, making them have to act impulsively and such. Now it's just Chamber ult, just use it when you get it. Great, thanks guys
