Looking forward to a Raptor review hopefully. Your reviews are sooo much more detailed and the hard work you put into it really shows. Please keep making these super in depth reviews where you dive in deep. I'm looking forward to your WCR review too once it finally opens. Keep up the great work drew
@@ParksBros I just wanna hear your opinion and review. Maybe ask Taylor or some other youtubers in the coaster community if you can borrow some footage with giving them full credit for the footage of course. I just love hearing your in depth opinion. Make as many as you can it doesn't just have to be CP reviews either. You are one of the hardest working coaster channels out there and we really do appreciate it Drew!! Keep up the hard work and it will keep paying off
I always thought dive coasters looked kinda boring. However when I rode this I couldn't believe how much fun I had. It's a really nice compliment to the more intense coasters in the park. And yeah, the view at the top is one of the best in the park! Side note: I thought the brake run was fun lol
I bet you are looking forward to getting a mini b & m dive machine st sea world within a few hours of you. The West Coast needed a dive coaster bad, and I don't really consider Hang-Time (albeit a great ride) to be a dive coaster.
I liked Valravn a lot more than I expected, so I guess I kind of appreciate the haters for setting my expectations low, lol. I loved the drop and the weird roll toward the end, and I didn't have any problems with the restraints tightening, but maybe I got just lucky on my one ride. I think it is the best B&M at the park, but certainly not in the top 5 overall.
Nice review! I'm going this summer, and I'm trying to keep my expectations low so I'm not disappointed by anything lol Oh also, maybe I'm just dumb, but your maps at the beginnings are very confusing 😂
I heard a couple other people say that it's their favorite as well. It's my mom's 2nd favorite. In talking with several people over my week last year, I heard Valravn, Gatekeeper, Maverick, Millie, Steel Vengeance, & Dragster mentioned as a favorite. No love for Raptor, as it was being a major headbanger that week.
Believe it or not, this is actually my least favorite of the dive coasters by B&M. Don't get me wrong, I like this coaster a lot. But, it doesn't hold you over the edge for very long, it doesn't have a splash down ending which is always cool, and it the restraints can put a little pressure on the chest when you hit the break run.
I think this. Coaster and all dive coasters should “Dive” into something. That’s why it’s called a “Dive Coaster”. Look at Oblivion, First Dive and it dives into a hole, I feel they all should Dive into something.
I don't agree tbh, maverick, top thrill, millennium force, raptor, magnum all topped MMs coasters at the time, not to mention I think the location is better. The mountain in magic mountain is a really cool location but you can't beat the peninsula on the lake
Nice review! I really like Valravn. I think many people are being very melodramatic in their disdain for it, just because it's "cool" to hate on dive coasters. The fact is that the GP love the vest restraints, and they love dive coasters with vest restraints. That's why Valravn gets such a huge line, sometimes the longest in the park. That's my main complaint about Valravn: the huge line it always gets. I would like to get more rides on it, but I don't want to wait that long for it. It's my 6th favorite in the park.
I got some headbanging on Griffon every ride, but not everyone will. It also feels like a very repetitive ride to me. Valravn has more variety, and guaranteed no headbanging for everyone. Despite all that, I still liked Griffon, just not as much as the other dive coasters.
