I think I really am the first one! I'm not surprised though, the arrangement seems a bit intimidating. It's sooo fun to play though! Once I've got the hang of it I literally had to stop myself from practicing too much lol. If you like the arrangement, go for it! It's pretty intuitive and _very_ good stamina training, 3 takes and my hands just stopped working :'D

It's the arrangement from the original book. It got published finally recently and I've been waiting for someone to upload already :)

Heh it's actually easier than the other parts. The harder part is when you have the triplets in the left with the right hand doing its melody.

Yup, I'm lucky in that regard - I can reach a 9th comfortably and hold a 10th after I roll it if I try hard enough

@@Caliko You can do 9th also feel this piece is hard. I only can do 8th, no hope for this piece. :(

@@townnet you don't need to reach more than an octave for this piece tho

@@Caliko Yes I know, I can do octave (thumb+pinky 2 notes ) with no problem. But if do fast chord (3 or 4 notes) that will be shorten my stretching distance. Sometime I have to sacrifice middle note.

I am a pianist as well. We can be so critical of our own playing. The truth is there will only ever be ONE of you in the universe---bringing the truth in your heart into your playing seems to come naturally to you. If you learned the basics you can continue without your teacher. It’s definitely hard without someone to guide you but thanks to technology I usually just consult other pianists online by closely watching their movement. Personally I have a very musical ear so what usually helps me is listening to the piece more than once and even after days I can subconsciously fix my own errors because my ear has gotten used to the notes. Sometimes I forget so I need to go over it again. So with your notes, RU-vid and people commenting like this you CAN push yourself :) I also like to share my progress on my social media sometimes and that gives me motivation to complete the project. I like to record my pieces and save them in my library so later I love love looking back and seeing myself play them long after I have stopped played them. This alone motivates you to complete each projects. Some pieces I totally give up on because I just don’t find the motivation to finish no matter how much I try. Not because they’re difficult. But I just lose the motivation. Hope that was helpful. Good luck.

I've been playing piano being self-taught for the past 6+ years, and I know what you're talking about. *_INCOMING WALL OF TEXT_* To add on to what +MGE said, watching other pianists play what you want to play is definitely a great source of motivation. However, it is good to keep in mind that technique is of *utmost* importance.... *Please* , proceed with caution in your piano journey, if you challenge yourself with pieces that are beyond your capabilities, there is a possibility that you may injure yourself. You _might_ learn a great deal of the piece, but at what cost? I was at your point once, and took on "Those Who Fight", "Besaid Island", and other difficult pieces beyond my level, and I ended up injuring myself because of my lack of proper technique. I suggest you learn with a teacher, lest you do lots of research on piano technique online.
