Valse Triste has been through many phases leading up to this solo piano release. The song started as a composition by Karl Edh in which he contributed to the "Blood Moon" EP in collaboration with Patrick Zelinski. This year the composers revisited a few of their old compositions to create more intimate versions of their songs.
