Tractors in Italy - but I think everywhere - are the means of transport with the highest percentage of injuries and deaths ... very dangerous if not used carefully. I'm sorry for you loss ...
nah you can't roll that because of the "Rückeschild" on the back it is made for hauling logs and it diggs itself into the ground if you trying to pull a log with the winch so the tractor doesn't slide and that same shield wil stop the tractor from rolling over if that stupid driver would let it near the ground
Kümmer dich Mal in andern ländern um denk Dreck in den Flüssen. Mal schauen ob du Gutmensch das so gut hinbekommst. Viel Blabla. Aber nichts auf die Reihe bekommen.
Horse will do the same with much less impact on nature as this ultra mega tuti frutti engine powered mondter, so still nature wins 🙂. Sorry but you can not beat nature 🙂. Just you can close to that but no beat that 😁and this is realy shame how much damage it makes…
The thing is that he isn't fighting Nature... I guess he works together with nature more often than the most of us do. He doesn't use Horses because he has to make money, and without anyone willing to pay logging with horses, he just does it the best way he can... I guess in reality you have way to much opinion about a term you have no clue about. Could be wrong. But Kinda sounds like... Or you are just armish 🤷♂️
@@benderbot3666 to be honest, I have family members that had been using those LKT, tractors, etc,…and turned after 20 years back to horses 🙂. So my opinion is based ok experience 🙂
@@swimpixo So you don't think he has a reason to work like that. And you don't think it makes a difference where you are logging? I know people using Horses for logging as well, but they get paid by government to make lumber at national parks. Removing storm damaged timber and so on. But the lumber they get outta there is never worth the effort in comparison to lumber harvested by machines. The government only pays so much, because they need to get that wood out of the forest before bark beetles get in there and really destroy the forest. At the same time they want to keep the impact to be as small as possible. But no one of us would be able to pay a House build from wood harvested with horses. That's just unrealistic...
I use liw impact machines. 6 ton excavator converted to feller buncher . 1 tree every 4 seconds hypothetical. One 4 ton farm tractor with winch or grapple. I do a ton for the local government. I bet I don't have much more ground impact then a team of horses with cleat shoes on. My excavator is less then 5 psi my winch has almost 165 ft of cable allowing me to get hand cut logs out of sensitive areas without bringing a machine near them. I just finished a job that was 1160 12ft logs by my self in 3 weeks on the side of a mnt
Verstehe nicht warum man dem Schlepper nicht mal ein Frontgewicht hinter dem Schild gönnt. Jedes Video ist die Vorderachse in der Luft… das ist ja völlig ineffizient
