Interesting rig. In Ireland willow is harvested using forage harvesters with a special header.

Good example of the reversible driving position. I'm guessing they did that because the rack that holds the cut shoots sits nicely on top of the engine cowling.

ChiefAUS they don’t need roots for replanting. They can reshoot roots from the stern apparently.

I think they shredder it to burn. You wouldn't want this in biogas ..theres no way it would produce any gas.
